you know that feeling after working so hard, sweating it out, tired and hungry and the helping hands come in right about the time you were giving out?? then soon after, the satisfaction of seeing it done and completed and you can rest in amazement and gratitude?? That is exactly where we end this day and this season. We have successfully harvested, distilled and hung all the bundles to dry thereby closing out our first lavender season.. Thank you to every hand and heart who supported us... and stay tuned for more about our products!!

"We drove all the way from Hendersonville just to experience this amazing Lavender Farm and the 2-hour drive was WORTH it! I would summarize the farm into two words- it's "PICTURE PERFECT"! The experience of picking the fresh-smelling Lavenders and taking photos are memories that will last forever. You can tell that the Lavenders grew very well on this farm. Bonus is that the owner was the best at welcoming people, and if the farm isn't busy with people, she takes GREAT PHOTOS. 10/10 on my rating"

Y'all! I picked the most gorgeous lavender bundles today...they look and smell amazing! The field is peaking in the next two weeks then the season for picking will be wrapping up (as I begin harvesting for oil distillation)...Tickets are still available for this Saturday!! The weather is supposed to be great! Why not plan a day trip to see the lavender at 10:30 that morning then spend a day at Fall Creek Falls state park..literally minutes from us!! Our dream for the Lavender Gardens at WoodHaven is for it to be a place of peace, serenity, and escape from the hustle and bustle of the world.

We open to the public on June 10 for pick-your-own lavender. This makes a great and easy daytrip from Nashville, Knoxville, or Chattanooga and we're minutes away from Fall Creek Falls State Park. We cannot wait for you to join us!

Lavender has a lot to teach me. When the winter months bring cold and gray skies, lavender winterizes itself and appears lifeless. It is during these seasons of life that we walk by faith…not relying on what our eyes see but relying on faith in the work happening underneath, the life that is taking place “super-naturally”. It is lavender that reminds me to wait- in faith- and eventually, my natural eyes can see that first glimmer of life….just as this little tiny green sprout reminded me this week!
I wish you the hope of new life and new birth celebrated in the true meaning of the resurrection! Happy Easter!
