Nestled in the picturesque Green Bluff, Roosting Dairy Goats, run by Amanda Winchell and Trevor Berg, is a small hobby dairy goat farm embodying community, compassion, and purpose. With nine years of experience raising goats, Amanda has cultivated a farm where each goat serves a meaningful role beyond production.
At the heart of their farm is the motto "raising goats with a purpose," which reflects their commitment to positively impacting their community. Amanda's goats actively participate in various fundraisers, supporting organizations like the Wishing Star Foundation through their annual "Send a Friend a Goat" campaign and other non-profits such as Higher Ground Animal Sanctuary. Whether donating milk to orphaned baby animals or simply bringing joy as pets, every goat has a role in giving back.
Beyond their dedication to the farm, Amanda and Trevor are avid learners in ruminant health, sharing their knowledge and expertise with new and experienced farmers. They extend their generosity beyond their own farm, often selflessly lending a helping hand to neighboring farms in need, assisting with injured or sick animals.
Outside of their farming endeavors, Amanda holds a full-time position with the City of Spokane Fire Department, a testament to serving their community in various capacities. Additionally, they generously volunteer their time with animal rescue organizations, fostering sick or small animals and assisting in animal crises, further embodying their ethos of compassion and care.
Amid their busy lives, Amanda and Trevor are also dedicated parents, raising three teenagers while surrounded by the blessings of their farm and community. Step into the enchanting world of EJ Roberts Mansion this Mother's Day. A community event for all to enjoy the grounds outside the mansion, enjoy complimentary Giant Lawn Games, a photo booth, and some special guests; including our beloved petting zoo with the famous baby goats for the kids and the young at heart.

A select few may partake in the Mansion's High Tea—an affair of refinement and delight. With tickets scarce, it is advised that you book now to ensure your place at this memorable event.
