We have a living historic landmark in Spring Branch, TX. For generations, the Knibbes milled wood, farmed cotton, raised cattle, chickens, and goats. They quarried rock and provided water and electricity to the area. Their legacy lives on and a tangible link to the past remains.
In 2018, the Texas Historical Commission recognized the Herman and Ada Knibbe House as a Recorded Texas Historic Landmark. It’s a nod to the enduring spirit of those who shaped Spring Branch and the resilience of their descendants.

Sometimes people refer to our ranch as a farm. We are here to help clear up any confusion. While we raise livestock, (F1 Tiger Stripe cattle to be exact) we have hundreds of acres for them to graze freely. This is the key distinction that defines us as a ranch. Unlike farms, we lack animal pens and agricultural crops, which are typical features found on farms.
National Volunteer Week is an important week for many organizations that host their events here at our ranch. While the majority of events are corporate, such as conventions and conferences, we still host a good number of non-profit organization events.
