Lynch - Once again this year I had the honor and privilege to DJ/MC the FOP Menorial Party and Fundraiser honoring fallen officers.
It's a long day for me, and that's why I took the next couple of days off from my morning radio show. But, that's nothing compared to the ultimate sacrifice they've made for us. Thank you again for having me. Love the fireworks this year!! :)

Lynch - With the last few bridal shows coming up in the area, here are some important tips for attendees....

1) Don't book anything on the day of the show. It's really easy to get caught up in the excitement and make snap decisions. Use the show to do your research and make an informed decision after the show and after you've had time to weigh your options.

2) Don't get sucked in to the "today only" pricing! Legitimate vendors will offer that same special pricing, days, even weeks after the bridal show if you mention that you saw them there. At Radio Pro DJ's, that's what we do. Ask yourself why are they so insistent on getting you to book that day?

3) Avoid vendors that offer multiple services. For example, one company that offers: DJ's, videography, photography, photobooth, table linens, invitations, etc. They are a couple of companies in the area that do a great job offering a few different services, but most "all-in-one" companies do not. It's like your family doctor offering brain surgery. They dont. They'd refer you to a specialist. Book vendors that specialize in their particular field.

4) NEVER book a vendor that uses subcontractors! Make sure you ask because they won't volunteer that information unless they have too. By subcontracting, there is no way they can manage quality control, which means you have no control over who they send to your event. With Radio Pro DJ's, we guarantee, in writing, which member of OUR staff will be at your event. And you deal directly with that person throughout your planning stages.

5) Ask questions. A lot of questions! Make sure you know EXACTLY what you're getting for your hard earned money and don't settle for less!

6) Avoid DJ's that rely on a venue’s Wi-Fi for their music library. Nothing will slow a Wi-Fi network down to a crawl more than 100-200 guests all loging on the the same wifi (with their smart phones) at the same time. Radio Pro DJ's have an extensive library of over 200,000 songs!! If there's a song we don't have, we aquire it BEFORE the event (based on our pre-planning with the bride and groom) and NEVER during the event. Unprofessional and unacceptable.

Most of these tips are simple common sense. But, an informed decision is the best decision.

Lynch - Saturday it was the Riverton HS Prom with Radio Pro DJ's JJ Gerard at the IL State Fair Grounds. I was at the Washington Park Botanical Gardens DJing the the Greenview HS prom with our sister company Prints Charming Fairytale Photo Booths. Great group of kids and we had a blast!!
