Luna & Co is proud to celebrate all forms of love. 🫶 Same S*x marriage has only been legal in the United States for ten years. Before that, same s*x couples had to fight for their love to be recognized legally. They faced challenges in healthcare, adoption, and basic acknowledgment of their families.

While there is still work to be done, I’m so thankful that couples like Anna and Hayley trusted us to bring their wedding visions to life. These women are nothing short of inspiring, amazing, and so kind.

Being a bride when I’m usually the one hyping brides up has been unreal.

Here’s a few things I learned/did for our wedding that made our wedding so amazing. 🖤

1. I did not care what people thought about my day. You couldn’t come? That’s okay! You don’t like the food? No problem, that’s on you!

2. Colton walked down the aisle to metal music, and I walked down to Nickelback. Wedding days go by so fast! Do what YOU want. Weddings have traditions, but that doesn’t mean you have to follow them.

3. I had friends write me letters instead of giving speeches.

4. No “wedding party.” We told our friends to wear all black. That’s what we like, and then everyone can rewear the dresses/suits!

5. I wore custom vans. I’m not a heels girl, so why would I wear them on my wedding day?

6. We only invited people we wanted there. We didn’t invite a single person because we felt like we had to.

7. I told myself all day it would rain. That way if it did, I wouldn’t be so hurt. The weather was unreal.

8. NO GIFTS. You coming to our wedding was the gift!

Maddie and Scott came to us wanting an intimate, intentional, and meaningful wedding celebration. ✨ This wedding was just that. I could go on and on about how special this day was. From elevated stationary, to custom cocktails, and a surprise song written by the groom- it was beautiful. 💕
