Last weekend Greg & Melanie not only celebrated their TEN-year anniversary, but also made their marriage sacrament under God in front of all of their family and friends and it was beautiful!

(One of my favorite boys in the entire world, too)

What you don't see is the disease Benton was born with.

HNRNPU

Benton is one of THREE HUNDRED EIGHTEEN cases to date in the entire world. Read that again.
When he was diagnosed (at age 2) he was one of 50.

Benton has a team of medical professionals that not only help him along the way but they also learn from him. He is the toughest little guy. He has been through more in 5 years than most of us in a lifetime.

This week is the very first HNRNPU awareness week. People like Suzanne & Bj are fighting for their son, the awareness of this disease and studies on it.

I feel so blessed to not only have been able to watch Benton take his first breaths in this world and watch him grow but also learn from him. He makes my kids better; he makes us all better. Not to mention his parents are BADASS!

Educate yourself. Help spread the awareness and most importantly, BE KIND.
