Happy New Year!

I also want to apologize for not being active lately.
My grandfather passed away a few weeks ago.
We knew this day would come, but it still hurts. Not seeing his infectious smile or him asking about me or the baby is still raw.
Please pray for me and my family during this difficult time.
We will be having a Mass for him in a couple weeks.
Please continue to bear with me as I navigate this loss. I will reply when I can.

I have loved creative writing for as long as I could remember. My mom even found a website where I could make my own book when I was younger. I’ve even journaled and blogged throughout the years. But, what I enjoy writing most of all is everyone’s stories.
A few years ago, my parents took a trip to the Outer Banks for their wedding anniversary and my mom had asked my brother and I to come a couple days later to surprise my dad. Once we were there, my mom then asked if the four of us could have a moment together as a vow renewal and asked me to say a few words.
I guess that’s where my writing passion grew into performing intimate ceremonies, so I decided to become ordained online. Fast-forward to today, I have officiated a wedding in the NASCAR Hall of Fame and also an intimate vow renewal at the most beautiful location practically down the street from home!
Today, I want to shout out from my business page a “happy anniversary” to my wonderful parents. Through good times and in bad, sickness and health between each other and my brother and I, and even tremendous losses, these two have been the epitome of true love. Happy anniversary mom & dad!

Find you an officiant that is not only affordable, but will sit down and have a consultation with you before the big day. I can do it over the phone, FaceTime or video chat, or in-person.

Last weekend, I officiated a vow renewal. Due to conflicting schedules, we never met in person beforehand, but chatted over the phone to get to know each other and hear the bride and groom’s request.

This ceremony was special. They also had a chair made for the groom’s mother-who passed away many years ago. Take a look at how I incorporated remembering her in my script.
