You'd better not pout - you'd better not cry - you'd better not shout - I'm telling you why! Santa Claus is coming to town!!!!!

Santa and Mrs. Claus - and possibly some elves will be in residence at the Santa House in Gylsy Hill park December 14th and 15th from 6-8:30pm. Make plans now to drive through the park and stop to visit Santa. As always, this is a FREE event. You are welcome to either walk or drive through.

Tis The Season - For the 19th Celebration of Holiday Lights in Gypsy Hill Park in Staunton, VA! Folks have started erecting their displays and the lights have started to sparkle. We will have over 120 displays going up over the next couple of weeks. This is a FREE event, and the lights go on around 5 pm each evening until 11pm. This a FREE family event and you can Drive through - or Walk through - as many times as you want!!! There are rumors that there will be a visits from a very special jolly old elf in December! Did I mention that this is a FREE activity for you and your family! Happy Holiday!!!

Would you like to be a part of the Celebration of Holiday Lights committee? We generally meet 6 times a year with the meeting lasting around 90 minutes. Our next meeting is on October 29th at 6:30 pm at the Montgomery Hall Park.

The website is www.celebrationoflights.org. Help this year to be the best year yet!

For the 19th year in a row, beautiful Gypsy Hill Park’s 214 acres will be aglow with holiday lights, from the Monday before Thanksgiving through the end of December, each evening from 5:00 – 11:00.

This past summer, Thelma Newman, the founder of Celebration of Holiday Lights in Gypsy Hill Park was honored with a bench. Family, friends, local people and members of the committee were there to celebrate with her.
