Incorporating your pet into your wedding can add a special and personal touch to the celebration. Here are some quick tips for creative ways to include your furry friend:

Ring Bearer or Flower Pet: Train your pet to walk down the aisle as the ring bearer or flower pet. Attach the rings to a decorative collar or basket, or adorn your pet with a flower crown or boutonniere for a charming touch.

Photo Ops: Incorporate your pet into your wedding photoshoot. Take portraits with your pet before the ceremony, or include them in candid shots throughout the day. Get creative with poses and props to capture adorable moments.

Wedding Attire: Dress up your pet in wedding attire that matches the theme or color scheme of your wedding. Consider a cute bow tie, collar, or miniature wedding dress for your furry friend to wear during the festivities.

Cake Topper: Feature your pet in the wedding cake topper. Have a custom cake topper made in the likeness of you, your partner, and your pet, or opt for a figurine that represents your pet's breed.

Custom Decor: Incorporate your pet into the wedding decor. Use photos of your pet on table centerpieces, signage, or guest favors. You could also include paw print motifs or pet-themed decorations throughout the venue.

Special Entrance: Make a grand entrance with your pet during the ceremony or reception. Walk down the aisle together, or have your pet escorted by a trusted friend or family member. This unexpected moment will delight your guests.

Pet-Safe Venue: Choose a pet-friendly venue where your furry friend can join you for the festivities.

Pet Sitting Services: Hire a pet sitter or designate a responsible friend or family member to care for your pet during the wedding. This ensures that your pet is well taken care of and allows you to focus on enjoying the day.

Signature Cocktail: Create a signature cocktail inspired by your pet. Give it a playful name that reflects your pet's personality or breed, and serve it to guests during the reception.

With these creative ideas, you can incorporate your pet into your wedding day festivities and celebrate the love you share with your furry companion.

Writing a wedding speech can be a daunting task, but with careful planning and thoughtful consideration, you can create a heartfelt and memorable speech that celebrates the couple and their love. Here are some tips to help you craft a successful wedding speech:

Know Your Audience: Consider the audience's relationship with the couple and tailor your speech accordingly. Keep it appropriate for all ages and avoid inside jokes or stories that may be unfamiliar to everyone.

Share Personal Stories: Include personal stories or anecdotes that highlight the couple's relationship, qualities, and milestones. Choose meaningful moments that showcase their love and commitment to each other.

Express Genuine Emotions: Be sincere and genuine in your speech. Express your feelings honestly and authentically, whether it's love, admiration, humor, or gratitude.

Keep it Concise: Aim for a speech that is brief and to the point. While it's important to share meaningful stories and sentiments, avoid rambling or going off on tangents. Keep your speech focused and on topic.

Include Well-Wishes: Offer heartfelt well-wishes and words of wisdom for the couple as they embark on their journey together.

Practice Delivery: Practice delivering your speech aloud multiple times before the wedding day. This will help you feel more confident and comfortable speaking in front of an audience. Pay attention to your pacing, tone, and delivery.

Use Humor Wisely: Incorporate humor into your speech to lighten the mood and engage the audience, but be mindful of the couple's preferences and sensitivities.

End on a High Note: Conclude your speech with a memorable closing line or sentiment that leaves a lasting impression. Offer a heartfelt toast to the couple's happiness and future together.

Be Prepared for Emotions: Weddings are emotional occasions, and it's normal to feel nervous or emotional when giving a speech. Take deep breaths, stay composed, and have tissues on hand if needed.

By following these tips and putting thought and effort into your wedding speech, you can create a touching and memorable tribute to the couple that will be cherished for years to come.

Making the getting ready process fun for groomsmen sets a positive tone for the wedding day and strengthens camaraderie. Here are some enjoyable ways to make the experience memorable:

Groomsmen Gifts: Surprise each groomsman with a personalized gift, such as monogrammed flasks, custom cufflinks, or fun socks. This thoughtful gesture adds excitement and shows appreciation for their support.

Themed Attire: Choose a theme or color scheme for groomsmen attire and provide accessories that reflect the theme, such as matching ties, pocket squares, or suspenders. This creates a sense of unity and camaraderie among the group.

Games and Activities: Incorporate games or activities to keep the atmosphere light and fun. Play card games, board games, or trivia related to the groom or wedding. This helps alleviate nerves and fosters bonding among groomsmen.

Food and Refreshments: Provide snacks, drinks, and refreshments to keep everyone fueled and hydrated throughout the morning. Consider ordering breakfast or brunch catering to enjoy a delicious meal together.

Grooming and Pampering: Treat groomsmen to grooming and pampering services, such as professional haircuts, beard trims, or hot towel shaves. Schedule appointments at a barbershop or salon for a relaxing and indulgent experience.

Photo Opportunities: Capture candid and posed photos of groomsmen getting ready. Hire a photographer or designate a friend to document the moments leading up to the ceremony. These photos serve as cherished mementos of the day.

Share Memories and Stories: Take time to reminisce and share memories and stories with groomsmen. Reflect on the journey leading up to the wedding and express gratitude for their friendship and support.

Positive Energy and Encouragement: Encourage positivity and excitement throughout the getting ready process. Offer words of encouragement, laughter, and support to keep spirits high and create a memorable start to the wedding day.

By incorporating these fun and enjoyable elements into the getting ready process, groomsmen can bond, relax, and celebrate together, setting the stage for a joyful and memorable wedding day.

For couples looking to ensure their wedding day detail photos are captured beautifully, here are some helpful tips:

Prepare Your Details in Advance: Gather all the items you want photographed, including the rings, invitation suite, bridal attire, shoes, jewelry, bouquets, and any other meaningful accessories, and place them in one location for easy access.

Communicate with Your Photographer: Share your vision and preferences with your photographer ahead of time. Discuss specific details you want to highlight and any sentimental items you'd like included in the photos.

Keep Everything Neat and Tidy: Arrange your details thoughtfully and keep them organized. Ensure your bridal suite is clutter-free and designate a clean, well-lit area for detail shots. This helps your photographer capture images that are visually appealing and cohesive.

Consider Personal Touches: Incorporate personal touches that reflect your unique style and story. This could include heirloom jewelry, custom-made accessories, or special mementos that hold sentimental value.

Don't Forget About Groom Details: While the focus is often on the bride's details, don't forget to gather important items for the groom as well, such as his attire, shoes, cufflinks, and any meaningful accessories.

Allow Ample Time: Allocate enough time in your wedding day timeline for detail photos. Avoid rushing through this part of the day to ensure your photographer has the opportunity to capture all the important elements.

Trust Your Photographer's Expertise: Your photographer is experienced in capturing wedding day details and knows how to showcase them in the best possible light. Trust their creativity and expertise.

Relax and Enjoy the Process: Take a moment to appreciate all the thought and effort that went into planning each detail of your wedding day. Relax, enjoy the excitement of getting ready, and trust that your photographer will capture these special moments with care and artistry.

By following these tips and working closely with your photographer, you can ensure that your wedding day detail photos are beautifully captured.

Minimizing stress on your wedding day is essential to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience. Here are some tips to help you stay calm and relaxed:

1. Plan Ahead: Detailed planning leading up to your wedding day can alleviate stress. Create a comprehensive timeline and checklist, and communicate with vendors to ensure everyone is on the same page.

2. Delegate Tasks: Enlist the help of family members, friends, or a wedding coordinator to handle tasks on the day of the wedding. Assign specific responsibilities, such as overseeing setup, coordinating vendors, and managing the timeline, to trusted individuals.

3. Stay Organized: Keep all important documents, such as contracts, contact information, and schedules, in one place for easy access. Having everything organized can help prevent last-minute panic.

4. Practice Self-Care: Prioritize self-care leading up to your wedding day. Get plenty of rest, eat healthily, stay hydrated, and engage in activities that help you relax, such as yoga, meditation, or a soothing bath.

5. Focus on What Matters: Remember the reason you're getting married and focus on the love and commitment you share with your partner. Keep things in perspective and don't sweat the small stuff.

6. Practice Mindfulness: Incorporate mindfulness techniques, such as deep breathing exercises or visualization, to stay grounded and centered throughout the day. Take moments to pause, breathe, and appreciate the significance of each moment.

7. Have a Backup Plan: Prepare for potential mishaps by having a backup plan in place for common wedding day challenges, such as inclement weather or vendor cancellations. Knowing you have a contingency plan can provide peace of mind.

8. Stay Flexible: Understand that not everything may go exactly as planned, and that's okay. Embrace the unexpected with flexibility and adaptability, and focus on enjoying the journey, regardless of any minor hiccups.

9. Celebrate and Enjoy: Above all, remember to celebrate your love and enjoy the day with your partner, family, and friends.

It's all in the history...

In the early 1900’s this building was the department store "Jandas" and was three stores wide on the bottom level with storage on the Loft level.

There is a friendly ghost named Rose that lived here and it is thought she was a socialite back in the day. Sometimes she will flush the toilets randomly and loves that there are celebrations in this space. 🥂

Tune back in for fun facts about the Loft!

"Ordinarily overlooked~

is what I find to be the most loved pieces of a wedding.
This image reminds me of the hard work the couple put into their day.
From the food they chose to serve their fav ppl, to the flowers they gifted their mothers. This table was where they were surrounded by love, friendship and family.
It sheltered tears and where laughs bellowed. It’s their gathering of love.

It’s these minuscule elements that we shouldn’t overlook."

We completely agree 🥰

Elevating your wedding without breaking the bank is absolutely possible! Here are some simple yet effective ways to add that extra touch of magic to your special day:

Focus on Lighting: Transform your venue with strategic lighting. Use candles, string lights, or LED candles to create a warm and romantic ambiance without splurging on expensive decorations.

Opt for In-Season Flowers: Choose flowers that are in season for your wedding date. Not only will they be more affordable, but they'll also look fresher and more vibrant. Consider greenery and foliage to bulk up arrangements and add texture.

Streamline Your Guest List: Keeping your guest list small can significantly reduce costs without compromising on the intimacy of your celebration. Focus on inviting your closest family and friends to share in your special day.

Simplify Your Menu: Instead of a multi-course sit-down dinner, consider alternatives like food stations, buffets, or cocktail-style receptions. Offering a few well-selected, crowd-pleasing dishes can be just as satisfying as an elaborate menu.

Choose Off-Peak Dates and Times: Consider getting married during the off-peak wedding season or on a weekday, as venues and vendors may offer lower rates during these times.

Prioritize What's Important to You: Identify the elements of your wedding that are most important to you and allocate your budget accordingly. Focus on splurging on a few key aspects, like photography or live music, while cutting back on less essential items.

Borrow or Rent Items: Instead of buying everything new, consider borrowing or renting items like linens, decor, and even attire. Many rental companies offer a wide range of options at a fraction of the cost of purchasing outright.

By implementing these simple strategies, you can elevate your wedding day and create a memorable celebration without overspending. Remember, it's the love and joy shared between you and your partner that truly make your wedding day special.
