🌞ARTIST SPOTLIGHT🌞

Static Symphony is a garage/indie rock band from Stockton, CA. Originally incepted in 2015 and revamped in 2017, the band is made up by the tight punk bass lines of Philip Savala, The percussive madness of Seth Earl Jacks, and the sonic pastiche of Geovanie Brooks. Drawing influence from bands like Dinosaur Jr, The Jimi Hendrix Experience, The Cure, The Stooges, and Mudhoney, folks always know that a show with Static is always heavy and groovy. Three dudes playing tunes and causing a far amount of mayhem.

They’re opening up with the first set of the day at 11am! Get to the fest early to groove!!!!

🌞ARTIST SPOTLIGHT🌞

Kate Smash is a bedroom project for disillusioned singer songwriters. Kate grew up with an acoustic guitar in hand and a bleeding heart on stage. After years of playing in rock bands, she has returned to her roots with an always growing and maturing perspective on life.

Kate makes music of the indie pop persuasion, but the genre won’t limit her. Inspired by Imogen Heap, desert country, video games and post-postmodernism, no two Kate Smash songs feel the same.

She is currently working on demos for her debut album, Dying Star.

🌞ARTIST SPOTLIGHT🌞

Jodye Jo, rising hip-hop artist & MC from Stockton, CA, is a member of the $krilla Reign collective; a brand of streetwear clothing, artists, rappers & producers. Jodye's musical influence was birthed from an early upbringing consisting of strictly 90's East Coast hip-hop, mentality, and backpacker culture. Now, add some current-day Northern California flavor, Las Vegas party/drug culture, and a true passion for writing and all forms of music. He pushes the envelope within each sub-genre of hip-hop and makes it his own. Jodye's love for lyricism is clear in his aggressive delivery, quick wit, unique culture references, imaginative wordplay, persistent pen, and ability to flow seamlessly through hip-hop, boom bap, trap, and R&B production.

He will be performing this month at the Dawn of Summer Fest, and bringing a few rap colleagues to rock the stage for his set. Featuring songs from his currently dropped, "For My Youngboys" EP, and his debut album, "Free Poison".
