🌞ARTIST SPOTLIGHT🌞

Static Symphony is a garage/indie rock band from Stockton, CA. Originally incepted in 2015 and revamped in 2017, the band is made up by the tight punk bass lines of Philip Savala, The percussive madness of Seth Earl Jacks, and the sonic pastiche of Geovanie Brooks. Drawing influence from bands like Dinosaur Jr, The Jimi Hendrix Experience, The Cure, The Stooges, and Mudhoney, folks always know that a show with Static is always heavy and groovy. Three dudes playing tunes and causing a far amount of mayhem.

They’re opening up with the first set of the day at 11am! Get to the fest early to groove!!!!

Kate Smash is a bedroom project for disillusioned singer songwriters. Kate grew up with an acoustic guitar in hand and a bleeding heart on stage. After years of playing in rock bands, she has returned to her roots with an always growing and maturing perspective on life.

Kate makes music of the indie pop persuasion, but the genre won’t limit her. Inspired by Imogen Heap, desert country, video games and post-postmodernism, no two Kate Smash songs feel the same.

She is currently working on demos for her debut album, Dying Star.

🌞ARTIST SPOTLIGHT🌞

Jodye Jo, rising hip-hop artist & MC from Stockton, CA, is a member of the $krilla Reign collective; a brand of streetwear clothing, artists, rappers & producers. Jodye's musical influence was birthed from an early upbringing consisting of strictly 90's East Coast hip-hop, mentality, and backpacker culture. Now, add some current-day Northern California flavor, Las Vegas party/drug culture, and a true passion for writing and all forms of music. He pushes the envelope within each sub-genre of hip-hop and makes it his own. Jodye's love for lyricism is clear in his aggressive delivery, quick wit, unique culture references, imaginative wordplay, persistent pen, and ability to flow seamlessly through hip-hop, boom bap, trap, and R&B production.

He will be performing this month at the Dawn of Summer Fest, and bringing a few rap colleagues to rock the stage for his set. Featuring songs from his currently dropped, "For My Youngboys" EP, and his debut album, "Free Poison".

Seven23 was formed out of Stockton and Oakland CA.  The band consists of family (cousins). Their sound is original and geared for the next generation of music.

There are so many talented artists that have influenced them individually and collectively, but the main ones are Nirvana and Michael Jackson, just to name a few.

Honeycum is a new solo project for Andrew Hemans, a singer, and songwriter from Stockton, California, and a member of the emo/rock band Los Beekeepers. This project is an exploration of ideas around identity and more personal topics.

CALFAMOUS is a 209 solo artist best known for her blend of music genres and writing styles. She began recording music for the first time in Stockton, California back in 2020 at the Press Recording Studio. This is where she created her breakout 3-track studio EP, ‘Golden Girl’. Since then, she has released 4 more singles onto streaming platforms. This includes 2 collaborations with fellow artist, Kenoga. CAL is ready to hit the stage and put on the best show Stockton has seen yet.

🌞ARTIST SPOTLIGHT🌞

No Citrus, a q***r group of friends who started off in a shed. They’ve been playing all together since November and have been non stop jamming since. This is an all girl/nonbinary band from Stockton California, with Dominque playing the drums, Lotus T on guitar/vocals, and James on bass/Vocals. They don’t like to subject themselves to one genre, so would consider themselves versatile. In their first few months so far they’ve already created a plethora of songs and they plan to record their first album towards the end of summer. No Citrus continues to thrive in the community and spread positivity and love in the essence of true q***r grunge.

Since birth Honest has always felt connecting others was his passion. Through the medium of rap he has been able to do just that. His precise description of his environment along with a blend of mental health advocacy has made his words sought after.
Honest does not refer to himself as rapper, that term is limiting to him. Honest is a creator.

Honest inspirations are, his momma, his dad, j Cole, Kendrick, Doja Cat, Nicki Minaj, his community, his partner and his team at OTS.

Honest is headlining a tour in a year time.
He is creating a new mentality for his city, one that is changing the course for ni**as from the bay.
He his utilizing the lessons he learned through experiences in the bay to connect to the world.

Carolyn Kendrick is a singer-songwriter, fiddler, and guitarist. She also produces and writes music for the award-winning podcasts You Are Good and You're Wrong About (Podcast of the Year, 2021, iHeart Radio). Most of the time she does regular musician things like play gigs, tour the country, hit the open road, and play songs late into starry nights among friends and enemies alike. But when pandemics turn the world upside down, she locks herself at home and learns to make records. Her newest self-produced album, The Music of You Are Good, Vol. I, is available everywhere now. 
Kendrick has performed with many beloved artists, such as Margo Price, Bruce Molsky,  Aoife O'Donovan and Darol Anger. In her time with her project The Page Turners, she spent years crisscrossing the country playing festivals (Newport Folk Festival, Greyfox Bluegrass Festival, Savannah Music Festival; Freshgrass ‘Best Duo’ Award, The Fletcher Bright Award). She grew up in Stockton, CA, and then lived in Boston before moving to Austin. Now she lives in Nashville—as much as a touring musician is able to live in one place.
