a celebration of cultural diversity and human connection through music. Music is one of the world's oldest forms of human artistic expression. Since the first person beat on a log in rhythm, music has pervaded civilization and been a way in which people inspire, connect and relate to each other on an emotional level despite of language barriers
. It's an art form that captures the heart of a people, and has been made by people of every culture throughout history. The Blue Ridge World Music Festival's mission is to bring musical expression, as an unifying human experience, from around the globe to the community of of southern Virginia. The festival is a weekend of concerts as well as educational lecture-demonstration performances featuring musicians from many world genres. Dates:

Weekend Passes include weekend camping and access to all daytime activities as well as after-hours music and drum jams. VIP Pass

VIP Passes include camping, access to all daytime and after-hours activities, free continental breakfast every morning, and access to the VIP lounge with snacks and beverages throughout the weekend (valid I.D. required for adult beverages). Group Passes:
