What a difference a YEAR can make!

Our building sat vacant with fire damage for several years. The first picture is actually a "progress" picture from this time last year after the interior demolition was mostly complete. There were many walls, ceiling layers, furniture, fixtures, and more that had to be removed before we could start the true rehab. Getting here felt like FOREVER, but we are so thankful to finally have a beautiful space to share with you!

APRIL 12TH DINNER + COMEDY SHOW!

Matthew Jacobsen is a Des Moines-based comedian armed with an array of stories, voices and faces. His high-energy act skews more silly than shocking. Matthew placed first in the Funniest Person In Iowa Contest (2024), won the Iowa Freshest Comics Contest (2017) and the DSM Funny Bone Clash of the Comics (2018). He has been featured in comedy festivals in Iowa and across the country including Altercation Comedy Festival and The Cleveland Comedy Festival where he received the Nate Cockerill Stage Performance Award.
