• Payment is required to save the date and confirm your booking. Payment information is transmitted over secure SSL encryption and is not stored.
• Please contact us for pricing for rush (next day) delivery, holiday booking, additional phrases, or rentals outside of Syd’s YardLove Designs’ servicing zip codes.
• Delivery is free within the servicing areas outlined on our website.
• The lawn greeting, and associated equipment, is a rental. These items are owned by Syd’s YardLove Designs. We asked that signs are kept in place for us to pick up in the same location. Signs should not be moved without consent. You will be invoiced $25.00 (per item) for any missing or damaged lawn greeting items.
• Letters, colors, and images are based on availability. We decorate according to the age/gender/occasion. We do our best to put down what you want for your special occasion.
• All orders must be paid to reserve your date. Open dates are taken on a first come, first serve/first paid basis.
• Rush and same day orders will be accommodated, provided the following conditions are met: Based on available inventory; Rush fee will apply; Orders placed within 24 hours of requested event day are not guaranteed; Order will be refunded if location is unable to complete order.
• For our safety, please make sure someone at the delivery location is aware that Syd’s YardLove Designs will be on the property installing the greeting.
• For our safety, if you are ordering a Yard Love Greeting for a location that is not your home, please let someone in that household or business know that we will be setting up in their yard between the hours of 5pm and 9pm, and returning to pick up the lawn greeting between 5pm and 9pm the following day. Times outside of this can be discussed and will be noted on the invoice.
• Times will vary due to volume of orders.
• Please do not move or attach anything to the greeting, including balloons and streamers. If the display needs to be moved or picked up early, please contact us. Damaged or lost items will be charged to the customer $25.00 per item that is missing or damaged.
• If you have a lawn company scheduled for service on the day of your reservation/event, please arrange for them to come before the greeting is set up. Lawn equipment will cause damage to the greeting.
• Please remember to notify the homeowner that they will be receiving the greeting within 24 hours so that they can make arrangements, including turning off their sprinkler, cutting the grass, exterior alarm systems and/or notification of yard service companies for the duration of the yard greeting and securing animals.
• Greetings will not be set up during turbulent weather (lightning, tornado, hurricane, heavy rain, snow or other hazardous weather conditions that prevent safe set-up and/or take-down). If weather is an issue, other arrangements may be made, as we may have to reschedule your YardLove greeting. If we are unable to reschedule the greeting and a mutually acceptable time, a full refund will be honored.
• During summer months, soften your yard by watering it the night before. It makes it easier for the stakes to go into the ground.
• PENCIL TEST – If you cannot easily place a pencil into 5 random areas of the ground, then your yard is too hard to stake. Please perform the pencil test at the time of booking and let Syd’s YardLove Design know the results. If the yard is too hard for the pencil to go in at least halfway at each of the pencil pokes, we will try our best to make accommodations. If the ground is still too hard for us to stake the signs, a full refund will be honored.
• For the safety of others, especially children, we ask that they do not run/play around the signs due to them having sharp edges. Also, the lawn greeting will not support the weight of a child or an adult, which includes leaning, sitting, or playing on.
• Realtors who would like to rent an “Open House” or “Welcome Home” yard card for their clients will receive a discounted rate of $75. Signs are set up and picked up the same times as our other signs.
• We do put our advertising sign up as well.
• Help us share the Yard Love love. Please take pictures or videos and tag us in your post on Facebook () and Instagram ().
• Enjoy your Yard Love Greeting and share with your friends! Cancellation/Refund Policy
• Full refund with 96-hour cancellation notice or full credit for an available future date
• 50% refund for 72-hour notice or full credit for an available future date
• 25% refund for 48- hour notice or full credit for an available future date
• Full credit for an available future date with 24-hour cancellation notice
• No refunds will be granted for denied access to the property
• Syd’s YardLove Designs reserves the right to decline orders that are controversial, lewd, disrespectful, or do not fit the celebratory nature of our business. If an order is declined, a full refund will be given.
• Syd’s YardLove Designs respects your privacy. We do not sell our clients’ information to third parties.
• Syd’s YardLove Designs and all representatives are not responsible or liable for any injury or damage that may be caused to any person or personal property during the setup, duration, and/or removal of any greeting.
