Stay off the roads tonight if you can….

The winter precipitation has stopped and it warmed up just enough to make a winter slush. As the evening approaches and the temperatures drop back into freezing, that slush will freeze to ice. It is the environment to create black ice which is actually transparent making it difficult to see and extremely dangerous for driving.

Please stay off of the roads.

🌸🌿🌼Welcoming the New Year with Nature’s Beauty! 🌸🌿🌼

Wildflowers are more than just a pretty sight—they play a vital role in supporting pollinators like bees and butterflies, which help our environment thrive. Thanks to the Wildlife Habitat Federation, our Fort Bend County Parks will soon transform into a stunning canvas of spring blooms!

By sowing wildflower seeds across our parks, they’ve gifted our community the promise of breathtaking scenery and a sanctuary for wildlife. Let’s celebrate this effort and take a moment to appreciate the outdoors today! 🌞

Start your New Year surrounded by nature’s wonders. Visit a park or community space, reconnect with the outdoors, and remember: wildflowers are key to healthy ecosystems. Together, we can help pollinators and keep our community blooming. ✨🌼🐝🪻🌺🌷✨

See you next year!!! ✨🎉😎🎉✨ #2025
