Schools out so that means it’s time
to talk SUMMER. 🤪🇺🇸🎆

This year I will be taking limited bookings for Independence Day celebrations on both the weekend before and the one after the 4th. Your Designs can be installed indoors mid - end of June if you’d like to enjoy them a bit longer.

Designs will vary this year so I’ve Included some inspiration images below with prices labeled
on the images. These are not my images but my work will definitely measure up. 🇺🇸

If you would like to book a spot I require a $50 save the date deposit with your date and delivery time for orders under $250.
Deposits for custom larger orders can be up to 50% of the order price.

Deposits can be paid via our Venmo

Deposits are nonrefundable and act as your cancellation/rebooking fee if needed.
Orders will be placed no later than June 1st.

Megan here. As most of you know I’m the owner and set designer of Ollie + Opal Event CO. I have been serving up small events in southern and central OK for about 3 years now and loving every minute.
A year and half ago I partnered up with 2 amazing photographers y’all may know to create a shared studio.
This studio became a creative safe space for me. We had such good memories with eachother and our clients.

Last week’s Tornado blew through our town destroying many homes and businesses with our studio being one of them.
We learned a hard lesson about the importance of rental insurance and though so many lost so much more my business lost thousands in event rentals and equipment.
We worked hard to salvage some things but the loss is still heavy financially.
This is why I’ve decided to offer a raffle to attempt to replace a small part of what was lost.

🎟️Tickets for the raffle will be $10
Each and equal one entry into the drawing which will be held 5/18/2024
All tickets can be paid via Venmo or Cashapp $MegTodd13

🎈The WINNER will receive a custom Balloon Design of $300 value for the date of their choice.

All proceeds will go towards replacing equipment and event rentals along with the cleaning/ safe storage of salvaged items.

We are devastated for our town and praying for everyone affected.
We will update more once we know the extent of the loss to our shared business space.

As many know, my beloved town that I’ve called home my whole life was directly hit tonight by tornados. My family and I are safe. This round of storms has caused catastrophic damage to many homes & businesses. One of which being my studio located downtown. I will be reaching out to clients directly at a decent hour in the morning to make arrangements for upcoming sessions. I am unaware of the full extent of damage. I’m praying that things can be salvaged but until I’m able to get up close I am just unsure of what we all we are facing. Please be patient with me as I navigate. 💔

Please say a prayer for Sulphur. Our community does best at rallying together to build one another up in times of need and I know it will do just that as we come back from this loss.

I’ve been pretty MIA lately for some much needed time off in January. 10/10 would reccomend. But we are now booking balloons for all Spring baby showers and wedding showers and large events. We will be taking only very limited spots for birthday parties this year. Message us your dates.

Happy Monday and Thanksgiving week!!
I have just a few announcements to make here.

First , Im happy to announce all my balloon books are closed from now through January with the exception of some valentines balloon pre orders I’ll be opening mid January. Im now booking all balloon events for February - April.
Photography sets and small non balloon events are also booking into Spring.
So send me your dates.

Next , The second face to Ollie and Opal , my sister Katelyn, has stepped back a bit to focus on her other businesses and large family so Im kind of a one woman show these days with my very helpful/supportive family members of course.
But with that said I am also moving to a Monday - Thursday work week for scheduling since all my events are weekends. This means I will only answer messages , emails , and texts on the above weekdays. If you message me on Friday- Sunday plan to hear back on Monday. 🙂

As most of you know I’ve added a shared studio space to my plate and am working on transferring my event rentals into the back of our studio. After the new year all my brides and photographers will be able to view rentals there. Yay no more storage units!!😃
We will also be offering our studio space for rent to other photographers and for small events. Check out all the studio happenings on our FB and Insta here .

Lastly but most important , I am so incredibly grateful for the growth we’ve seen over the past year with Ollie + Opal and I just want you all to know it would not have happened without you!!!

We had so much fun at our first Get Social with HSC night. We taught an intro to Charcuterie class with a fantastic group of ladies. We ate , we laughed, we socialized, we made messes. It was the best and we can’t wait to do it again. 🥐🧀🍇
