Do you put pricing in your sponsorship deck? This is a question I get asked a lot. 💁🏼
Pricing should be one of the last things you talk to a brand about. You need to take the opportunity to sell your event, your demographic, your audience, and make the alignment for the brand. You need to know what the brand is looking to get out of the sponsorship before you ever talk about pricing.
Pricing is a negotiation and if you outprice your event the brand will open your deck and close it right back. You now have closed a door before you ever even opened it.
I understand sometimes they demand pricing and you have to send a deck with pricing, just make sure to try to have a few conversations before you get to that point.
