Wedding seating assignments can be both practical and pretty. On the practical side, they tell guests where they're sitting so everyone can easily find their seats. It allows you to add any dietary restrictions and can show catering staff your meal selection. On the pretty side, they give you an opportunity to personalise your reception tables and make your guests feel extra special.
Some couples may want to keep their wedding placement classic with simple folded place cards, but for those who want to get creative, there are plenty of amazing wedding seating ideas to entertain.

You've said YES to your person. Your dress. Your venue and now its time for the rest of the vendors. When selecting your wedding team, properly educating yourself on the current market is key. We understand you might not have answers for every question, but coming in with a general idea will help us formulate if we're the right fit for you.
1. Serious inquiries should have date and venue information ready to give to a wedding vendor to verify availability and give proper pricing estimates. If you'd just like pricing, be honest. Both the client and vendor can easily feel "ghosted" in this process.
2. Verify with the vendor who you'll be working with. Sometimes the person on the phone is different than staffing on the day.
3. Request a copy of the contract and estimates to review before putting a deposit down. Verify extra fees and if the deposit is refundable.
4. Request a referral! If we're a great vendor we have clients willing to share their experience. Ask us or look at our online reviews.
5. Make sure you VIBE! Whether its clothing, politics, age, whatever - this is your day. You don't have to work with the first person you reach out to.

When planning your tablescape, couples should be conscious of table sizing and dinnerware items. Tables can quickly feel cluttered once the decorator, florist, and waitstaff finish setting up. This leads to spilled drinks, lack of elbow room, and nowhere to set phones and purses.
A Northern Jewel PRO TIP: Ask your caterer what's included in a table dining experience. Setup a table mockup at home to give yourself a visual aid. Afterwards, take some snapshots for easy recreation for your decorators.
Couple's Cruise
Traditionally known a couple's send-off that is now often overlooked, because of late-night receptions. However, it's a tradition that can be made anew and we've been lucky enough to be part of a few.
1. Directly after the ceremony take an intimate ride to an off-site location with your photographer for couple's photos and a moment alone.
2. If your family are car enthusiasts - host a car show. The guys will love it and it'll be great for photo ops!
3. Opt out of the traditional ride - and try a pontoon, tractor, or horse ride.
According to The Knot having an outdoor wedding is a priority for 25% of couples. As a wedding coordinator, all I ask is that you think realistically. Mother nature is unpredictable, and weathering the storm has its limitations. By discussing a "rain" or indoor option prior to the date, you'll ensure a smoother transistion for all parties involved.

Wild Embers Event Services offers a daily coordination rate of $750 or an hourly rate of $60/hr. The hourly rate is best utilized if you're having a short wedding celebration or you just need us to come in and help stage decor, assist with food, or cleaning up at the end of the night. If you take us on for the full day, utilize your time with us. We are yours from the start of your wedding day to closing down the venue, if you need us. Each couple's needs are different, so we'll meet about a month out to go over your timelines, your vision, and the different area's that we can help cover.
