DELAYS- 7 Tips on Avoiding Wedding and Event Delays
1. Brides hair & makeup. Set a goal to have hair & make up completed one hour prior to ceremony. This is the #1 delay with weddings.
2. Late arrivals. Provide good location instructions, communicate any traffic congestion issues, and provide them a number to call if lost.
3. Forgotten marriage license or wedding rings. Place the marriage license in the vehicle the night before. Place the rings in purse ready to go.
4. Wedding dress stained. Eat snacks & drink fluids before putting the wedding dress on. Colorful drinks and snacks will cause stains.
5. Event 1st Aid Kit- Someone is always needs something- Safety pins, thread/needle, sizzors, tape/lint roller, hair spray, clear nail polish, glasses, cough drops, allergy medication, tissues.
6. Hot guests. Provide water & fans near guest seating ares, so they can be comfortable while waiting.
7.Photographs. Photographers are professional, fast & efficient, and on a time frame. Appoint someone who is familiar with all your family members to help gather them up for their pictures.
