The Ol Cyride Struggle Bus made its way back to its old stomping grounds of Ames this weekend! Not many people got to ride in style to see George Strait, but this group sure did!

When we started this business a few years back, we weren’t sure what we were getting ourselves into! With Ragbrai coming to Tama-Toledo, we were offered a great opportunity! Wednesday night we went to the Des Moines airport to pick up the Earth Wind and Fire tribute band, as well as picking up Foghat!! Thursday we spent the day chauffeuring the bands to places they needed to be. Last night we spent the whole night backstage with Foghat and what an experience that was!

Thanks for everyone who came down and supported small businesses yesterday at the Irish Stampede! The bus might have finished last in the race but we didn’t quit!

For those who don’t want to walk/run in the Irish Stampede, the Struggle Bus will be picking up people at the Eagles around 11am, stopping at the Tama Legion, VFW, and ending at the pump for burgers! $5 to get on and ride the Struggle bus!

We here at the Struggle Bus, want to thank all of our customers this year making it a great year running the busses for you! We are raking this week off to celebrate the holidays with friends and family and will be back up and running next week to start the new year!

We already have a lot of weekends booked up for the upcoming year, so if you are wanting to rent a bus, contact us and get booked sooner rather then later!!

With our calendar filling up fast for the rest of the year, we are looking for a few drivers for our busses to join us! If you, or you know anyone interested, shoot us a message! Starting pay is $20/hour. After you drive 5 bus trips, pay will increase to $25/hour.

Driving hours vary. Mainly night runs. Some afternoons. Mostly Friday and Saturday nights.

-Must have a passenger endorsement to drive.

We will help you with the process of getting a passenger endorsement to serious applicants.
