Biography
Born on the beautiful island of Grenada, Anthony came to America when he was seven. From an early age, family, teachers, and childhood friends encouraged his artistic talents. "I never knew what would become of my artwork so at times I just painted, took photos, and created illustrations simply because it was therapeutic for my soul." He continued to deve
lop his artistic gifts at the University of Connecticut where he received his Bachelor of Fine Art. It was there that he fell in love with photography and processing prints in the darkroom. "With the lens I'm able capture the beauty in life and create work that explores notions of harmony, love, spiritual balance, peace, and enlightenment. I believe talents should not be hoarded by the individual, but rather exhibited for humankind. We are all creatures who crave the benefits of aesthetic pursuits. As a photographer, I realized that I could share my appreciation for my surroundings with those who quickly pass by and may not recognize the captivating nuance of their space. With the camera we are able to reexamine our space and just maybe, ourselves." Anthony is a freelance artist, photographer, and father of four who enjoys cooking Caribbean cuisine during his down time in Tampa, FL. “Stay Vibrant and Proceed with Love.”
