We regretfully are forced to put off the Crawfish Boil (Block Party). Because of the impending cold snap, crawfish are harder to catch and less readily accessible. Just so you know, the ponds will most likely freeze over in the next few days, so the crawfish will need to burrow well into the mud to stay safe. Crawfish become sluggish as temperatures drop into the 30s and 40s. They are not entering the Crawfish Traps or swirling around the ponds. I'll send you an update with the next expected opening date as soon as I have an update on the Crawfish Fishers' progress and when Crawfish is easier to be obtained. Stay Tuned….
