Members of The Thomasville Woman's Club will meet on Tuesday, Sept. 10, 2024. Nancy Leisure and her guests from Sisters of Hope will share inspiring stories of recovery. Members are asked to donate items needed for their Recovery & Bible Study Groups. Items needed: Bibles, devotional books(daily devotional books provided by churches are especially useful.)
Lunch will be served at 11:45 AM and the program will follow. Visitors are very welcome! Reservations at the cost of $10 may be made by calling 336-472-6132. All reservations must be made by Thursday Sept. 05, 2024. Join us for an inspiring program, uplifting fellowship and delicious food!

February Meeting
Members of the Thomasville Woman's Club will meet,at the club, on Feb. 13,2024.A buffet lunch will be held at 11:45 AM. Reservations are required at a cost of $10 per meal. Reservations should be made by calling 336-472-6132 by Thursday Feb. 08.2024. Visitors are welcome and invited to enjoy delightful companionship & delicious food. Nancy Leisure,founder of Sisters of Hope, will be our speaker. She will give an overview of their purpose:Hope-Helping Others Excel. The Hospitality Room of Hospice of Davidson County will be our community outreach. Donations needed: Lance peanut butter crackers, Little Debbie snack cakes, candy bars, Instant Oatmeal & grits, individual bags of chips,Ramen noodles,poptarts. These items bring nourishment & comfort to the families of patients.Donations will also be accepted for Smart Start;Parents as Teachers:board books, diapers, wipes, zip- loc bags. Please join us in serving & exploring ways in which to enhance the welfare of our community.

The Thomasville Woman's Club held their monthly meeting on April 11, 2023 in the Finch Tea Room at the club. Chelsea Scrace and Brandy MCQueen were our speakers. They explained the many services which are available to patients and their families at Hospice of Davidson County. Hospice of Davidson County is located in a peaceful setting which includes a lovely flower garden. Many opportunities to donate items and volunteer were explained. Several of our club members' families have been helped by Hospice. They expressed gratitude for the compassion given to them.
At our May 09, 2023 meeting we will install club officers for 2023-2025. The winners for The Thomasville Woman's Club Scholarship will be announced. Steve Teglas from ReVILLEing Thomasville will be our speaker. Visitors are welcome. Reservations are required at a cost of $10. Reservations may be made by calling 336-472-6132 by May 04, 2023.

The Thomasville Woman's Club held their monthly meeting on March 14, 2023 in the Finch Tearoom at the club. Dana and Lewis Lomba of Synergy Massage Spa were our speakers. Members were amazed at the many traditional spa services and they were excited to learn about new and exciting treatments. Synergy Massage, located at 1150 Randolph Street in Thomasville, serves the community with over 30 years of combined experience. A quote from their brochure,"Let us help your body work in Synergy."
We celebrated "Read Across America" by donating Dr. Suess books to Briar Creek, Fairgrove, Hasty, Pilot and Thomasville Primary elementary schools. A Dr. Suess' book was also donated to the children's library at The Thomasville Public Library. After the meeting 78 "Blessing Bags" were packed.. The "Blessing Bags"will be shared with Meals on Wheels" clients in April.
The next meeting will be Tuesday, April 11, beginning at 11:45am with a buffet luncheon. For reservations call 3363070391 by Friday. April 6 at 12:00noon. Cost of the meal is $10.

The Thomasville Woman's Club will hold their monthly meeting in the Finch Tearoom on Tuesday March 14, 2023. A representative from Synergy Massage will be the speaker. Club members are asked to bring donations for "Blessing Bags" which will be distributed to Meals on Wheels clients These bags will be packed following the business meeting. donations may include: boxes of raisins, granola bars, cheese crackers, peanut butter crackers, pretzels, and small packages of cookies.

The February Meeting of TWC:

The Thomasville Woman's Club held their February 14, 2023 meeting in the Finch Tea Room at the club. Charlotte Edwards, director for The Mill Coffee Shop and Fancy Finds, was our speaker. Both venues are located on the Baptist Children's Homes campus. Charlotte shared information about varied outreach services provided by the Baptist Children's Homes. For rich flavorful coffee, delicious muffins, and tasty smoothies pay a visit to The Mill Coffee Shop. Fancy Finds has vintage accent pieces and a variety of refurbished furniture. Proceeds from both venues support outreach services provided on the campus.
I am sure many club members plan to enjoy coffee and tasty treats at The Mill. Some may even search for vintage treasures at Fancy Finds.

The Thomasville Woman's Club held their Jan. 10, 2023 meeting in the Finch Tearoom at the club. Donna Saintvil,owner of St. Popperville located at 120 West Main in Thomasville, was our speaker. She shared her quest to find Kettle Corn, her husband's favorite snack. Luckily for us she began experimenting with recipes and flavors to create her own. Your nose may lead you to the large kettle outside her shop where she pops the kettlecorn. She graciously shared samples of many flavors from beautifully wrapped containers. Donna will see many of the club members again as they make purchases at St. Popperville.
