Achieving frequent blooms from your Peace Lily can be simple with the right care. Here’s a guide to ensure your plant thrives and blooms beautifully throughout the year.
1. Natural Fertilizer with Yeast:
■ Using yeast as a natural fertilizer is an eco-friendly way to enhance your plant’s growth and boost its immunity against diseases.
2. Boosting Nutrient Absorption:
■ Yeast-based fertilizers improve the plant's ability to absorb water and essential minerals from the soil, promoting robust growth and vitality.
3. Homemade Yeast Fertilizer Preparation:
■ Non-Fermented Solution: Dissolve 100g of baker’s yeast in 10 liters of warm water and let it sit for an hour.
■ Fermented Solution: Combine 100g of crumbled baker’s yeast with a cup of sugar. Allow it to rest for 2 hours, then add water and let it ferment for a week. Dilute this mixture with water (5 liters for every ½ cup of the fermented solution).
4. Applying Yeast Fertilizer:
■ General Application: Use the diluted yeast solution to water your plants regularly.
■ For Orchids and Butterfly-Friendly Plants: Submerge the plant's pot in the solution for up to 5 minutes to ensure deep nourishment of the roots.
