Montview Elementary Parent Gala was an event to remember! The event was held to allow parents to come and learn about the school’s curriculum, community resources, school funding, and to recognize student achievements. Parents, faculty and students were all dressed to impress. This was such a unique way to promote parent engagement, and I hope that this idea will be something that other schools will adopt.

Meet the face behind Pop Glamour 🎈

Hey y’all! I wanted to take a minute to introduce myself to those who don’t know me. My name is Whitney Martin-Erskine. I am a married mother of 3 with a passion for event decor.

I began decorating events in 2011 simply as a hobby. The more events that I designed, the more my love for the art grew. In 2018, I was entrusted to design my first big project. I had the pleasure of designing a wedding. Then, in 2019, I designed my very own wedding! I decided that I wanted to find my niche in the diverse world of event decor. That’s when I discovered balloon design and fell in love with the idea! Finally, in 2021, Pop Glamour was born.

Since I’ve reached my goal of owning my own business, I have already set bigger goals for myself. So, look for bigger things from Pop Glamour in the near future. Thanks so much to those who have supported us! 🩷

We love repeat clients!

We were honored to provide our balloon decor to the National Coalition of 100 Black Women Inc. Greater Huntsville Area Chapter for their feminine hygiene product distribution. This group of amazing women spent the last few months collecting donations of feminine hygiene products for young girls in need. This will help them to receive an uninterrupted education while in school.
