It's not too late to help out with the plarn events!! Thursday, August 3rd at 4pm will be the last Tracy plarn event for a while as I am moving to Cal Poly Humboldt! I'm going to be projecting Wall-E and possibly have some boxes of pizza 🍕 😋

Not too many helpers this time but thanks so much to the people who came!!

Thank you to the Tracy Branch Library for allowing me to have my plarn events in their meeting room, thank you mom and dad for helping me set up, and thank you to my volunteers Vanessa, Riya, Ella, and Gabe!

It looks like there are only a couple days that will work for me before I move for Humboldt but a note has been left on Candace's desk at the library to call me back.

Trying to plan another plarn event before I move to college! I know we had issues with the library location in the past, but maybe just for time sake we can do it there again. I will be calling Tracy library tomorrow to make a date.

Going to check out the Nirvaana banquet hall tonight to see if it will work for plarn events! Very excited!!

I wanted to share a picture of one of the people that received my mats. I give my mats to Gavin at Tracy Community Connections Center and he gives them to the people he feels most need them. Gavin told me "This is Sergio. He received one of your plarn mats today and is very grateful". It's so great to see how my (and my helpers) time has paid off.

Hi everyone.
It is becoming apparent that the library may not be the best place to have the plarn events. The library room is open to the public meaning open to *everyone*. This has caused a few problems that security was able to fix but I would really like to avoid it in the future. Also the library has changed their availability making Saturdays not possible (or at least very limited).

I have contacted Tracy Community Connections Center to let them know about the change and they are going to contact a few churches.

The problem is that there are meeting rooms in tracy but not for free.

Updates to come while I look for a new meeting space!

Tracy connects went great! I was practically able to start and finish a mat while working the booth. I got to educate so many people about my mats! I'm thinking with all of the people I talked to, the next plarn event will be full. Thank you to Gavin from Tracy Community Connections center for inviting me!
