The gift of life pushed new boundaries in 2022, a year where the U.S. also surpassed 1 million organ transplants since transplantation began in 1954. Thank you to the generous donors, their families, and all the collaborative partnerships that help make such beautiful life-saving possible!

Thank you does not cover what our community did today! What a successful event. We raised over $1500 to be donated to Life Center and wow, the toys for Children’s 💚 thank you to all who helped organize and work the event, Cincinnati Childrens transplant team, Life Center, Jake Davis our DJ, State St coffee, JUMC women’s group and all who donated baskets. See you again next year!

It’s 5K day people!! We know it’s cold but you can warm up with coffee or hot chocolate from State St coffee, and baked goodies from JUMC Women’s group 💚 come early and visit the Childrens and Life Center tables as well as get in on some raffle baskets! Winner need not be present to win, drawing to be held at conclusion of 5k.
Make sure to be there by 940 for a special guest introduction!!

Some have asked today about donating in lieu of registering for the walk. We get it, walking isn’t for everyone and it will be cold 🥶, below is the Venmo: Lexi’s Laps For Life. Donations welcome! Monetary donations will go to Life Center to help in the education of organ and tissue donation as well as continued support for donors families. I can tell you they have been a great source of support for us over last year. They gifted us a teddy bear with Lexi’s heart beat, unlimited donate life bracelets, grief support literature and most recently a donor family recognition ceremony. They are invaluable! Thank you everyone for sharing. Still collecting raffle baskets and deadline for shirt ordering will be Dec 5th. You can register up to day of 5k but only guaranteed a shirt up till 12/5!

What better day to sign up than on Lexi’s birthday! Help us honor her and have some fun while doing it. Not a walker or runner? That’s ok! Come out and hear some great music, grab coffee from State St coffee, eat some snacks from Jacksonburg United Methodist ladies group and check our raffle baskets. Life Center will have a tent with info on organ and tissue donation. Come out!

We will have raffle baskets, coffee truck from State St coffee as well as DJ Jake Davis. Come out and learn about organ and tissue donation, and bring a toy to brighten a child’s Christmas at Cincinnati Childrens. We will be looking for raffle basket donations in the coming month if you know anyone! All proceeds will be donated to Life Center to help further educate and provide support to families of donors and recipients.
