Come see us at the Truck Yard event on May 10th!!! 🥳

The City of Troy is excited to bring the Troy Truck Yard event, a free outdoor event featuring live music and food truck fare, back for 2025. This year’s Truck Yard will be held on Saturday, May 10 on East Water Street between Counts Street and St. Patrick's Church. The event is scheduled for 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

Music will be provided by the Wooden Nickel Band a three-piece band specializing in country and rock. Alcoholic beverages and food from participating food trucks will be available for purchase.

2025 marks the sixth Troy Truck Yard. This annual event is held in a different downtown location each year and promises an evening of community for all ages. Residents and visitors are encouraged to attend the Troy Truck Yard event for music, food, and fun! For questions, contact the City of Troy at 937-335-1725.

Tonight we officially kick off the 2025 Strawberry Festival with the Queen’s Pageant.

As part of the kick off we are pleased to release this year’s theme and logo.

The 2025 Festival Chairwoman is Jessica Silvers is employed by the Troy-Miami County Public Library and hopes to encourage reading and literacy with this years theme.

Women Owned Business Spotlight - Jenifer Karnehm

Jennifer is the owner of The Phoenix Traveling Trailer. Looking to upgrade your event? The Phoenix Traveling Trailer is a completely refinished 1970s horse trailer turned mobile bar that can be rented for your next wedding, grad party, or any other occasion.

What motivated you to start your own business?

As someone who is at the end of my career as a teacher, I wanted to have something to take into retirement. When I saw this cute horse trailer was for sale, I knew I wanted to start the second phase of my career life. And so I became a business owner of a mobile bar. It's so much fun and I've been able to meet so many wonderful people.
