Have you heard of ? Did you know they name a Color of the Year? The color this year was dubbed Peach Fuzz. This was such a fun color that we thought we’d honor our trendsetting brides and talented florists ( + ) of 2023 that incorporated this color into their design. We tastefully worked with our design teams and added peach as a pop of color; a highlight and a subtle treat to the eye.

The world stopped and stood still for these two and we all watched, smiling from ear to ear, soaking up the love and joy of a truly personalized celebration.
There was no aisle or traditional processional or ceremony readings, but instead an eclectic gathering of lounge furniture and chairs for guests to gather around the couple and tell their stories about their friendship and many comical moments they have all spent together. Jokes were told, embarrassing moments shared, and truly authentic sentiments were expressed.

In lieu of traditional es**rt cards, the couple wrote a letter to each guest accompanied by a photo and displayed beautifully on a wall thanks to and

Greenery in a variety of hues and shapes accented everything from the hanging lanterns to the es**rt wall, tent, place settings and side table elevating and warming the entire ambiance. spared no detail perfecting this design with us and we couldn’t have been happier with the finished look.

And the food, libations, and tunes kept everyone jovial with tummies and hearts full!!

This gorgeous celebration for two of the most incredible people, is published on today!
After 10 years of dating, 2 years of planning and rescheduling, hundreds of planning hours, countless phone chats, and an all star vendor team that rocked every single detail, we finally got to throw & an epic celebration!!

Sooo many highlights:

🕺🏻The father daughter dance. Our entire team was in a corner balling watching this hilarious and incredibly special dance.

🍹The bar …it was a full circle positioned 1/2 in the tent and 1/2 out….and the signature cocktails were incredible and featured the couples dog

What a year, am I right?
I feel like all of us in the wedding industry have just completed the ultimate marathon. After postponing two years worth of events into 5 months and working our tails off to pivot, make new contracts, talk to legal, offer new COVID safe services, change the services to shift to new mandates, and then dissect weather & fire reports, I am so happy and proud of our team for producing so many beautiful 2020 and 2021 celebrations!

While I have been in recovery mode, my team has been continuing to curate insightful content. This month, my amazing Digital Marketing Director, produced a Women in Business series to uncover the unique paths & journeys of several local female biz owners. Last Friday, she interviewed me and shared my story, including the many bumps in the road that have lead me to where my business and career is today. The last couple of weeks have been unnerving for many of us. Locals in South Lake and the West shore have had to evacuate their homes and many couples are wondering what will become of their wedding plans.

Our sister company provided these tips to help you navigate this confusing time.

1. Get on the phone today and BUY WEDDING INSURANCE ASAP! Speak to a wedding insurance agent to learn how to protect your investment and wedding expenses.

2. Email your vendors. Let them know what you would like to do and give them time to respond. Please remember they are either evacuating or preparing to evacuate. This is a stressful and emotional time for all of us living in Tahoe as well as it is for those of you with upcoming weddings. Let’s GIVE EACH OTHER GRACE & PATIENCE during this extremely difficult time.

3. Looking for ways to help? ADD A DONATION LINK TO YOUR WEDDING WEBSITE to a fund for Caldor fire victims. Check our stories daily for different funds.

4. DON’T PANIC! We know there is no way to describe how difficult this is, but please be patient and think your decision through. All your vendors have postponed many weddings at this point and it is immensely easier and more efficient to do it when the couple is calm and nice to work with. Getting angry or aggressive helps nobody.

When we first pitched the idea of gifting a lucky couple with a completely designed turnkey wedding at, I got just a little carried away with some of the design details. The chandeliers being one of them …and the terra-cotta pots being another.
We couldn’t source the pots in time due to shortages and shipping issues, but Andi from was a super human and transformed standard vessels into these beautiful clay pots.
And the chandeliers, well this was a mission that ended with me feeling like I hit the chandelier jackpot in …I may have taken over the back corner while laying out all the light fixtures to test out the arrangement 😬

So excited to share this amazing celebration from last summer! These two went through so much before being able to celebrate their wedding. As the title of the post stated, they were informed just 9 days prior to their wedding that their guest count had to be reduced to 25 people🤯. We had already ordered everything, guests had booked their travel, and all the final plans were in motion. Not to mention we had already reduced the headcount from 250 to 100 and revised those plans a month earlier. But, as we all learned last year, 2020 taught us to adapt and be flexible despite immense frustrations and disappointments. ⁠
After many new iterations (and after scrapping plans A, B, C, and D) of the wedding day, we came up with a new plan for an intimate and safe 25 person ⁠
The result was quite possibly the most powerful and impactful celebration we have witnessed. It was very different from the original plan, but there was no shortage of laughter, smiles, tears, and joy. To add to the joy, we just found out all restrictions have been lifted for their upcoming Reception this summer!! 🍾🥰🍾🥰 Can't wait to continue the celebration!!⁠
