I wasn’t ready to be a dad I was young in the Air Force and a newly wed. What Alana taught me was you are ready when they look at you for the first time, you are ready when she takes first step, you are ready when she has her 1st boyfriend, you are ready because now she’s an adult graduating 6 months early and # already accepted with scholarship to NAU. I’m not ready to be alone from her she’s my rock and I’ll miss her. But she’s ready to take on the world, make her own memories, and be her own spirit animal.
