Today is about remembrance.

On Memorial Day, we honor the heroes who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country. Their courage and selflessness allow us to live, work, and create freely under the flag they fought to protect.

As a photographer, I’ve had the privilege of capturing the American flag in all kinds of places—from the snowy slopes of Snowbowl to the electric energy of the Fiesta Bowl. Every time I see it through my lens, I feel the weight of what it stands for.
I’m endlessly grateful for the freedom their sacrifice gives me—and I carry that with me every time I pick up my camera.

Thank you to all who gave everything. We remember you.

I just submitted my first Professional Photographers of America insurance claim! As long as everything goes smoothly, my lens repair cost of $480 should only cost me $50!

I have heard ups and downs about the insurance through. So I am excited to see if everything goes okay and I get no pushback. Once the resolution happens, I plan on making a video to help people. I searched and saw almost no videos on this vital PPA benefit.
