Well, like every place else in the country, we are looking for a few dependable catering assistants and sandwich artists. We're a solid company that has been in business for over 35 years. Like all good Americans, we'll do just about anything someone will pay us for, (yes, I know that capitalism is unsustainable, but it's what we have right now). Most of our business is catering for private planes and airplane charters from our kitchens in Tulsa and Oklahoma City (we need help at both locations). It is fun to cook and design menus for the rich and famous - over the years, we've fed just about every celebrity, entertainer, athlete, politician and royalty that has flown through Tulsa or Oklahoma City - even the presidents - but we cater all kinds of other events too. We are looking for someone who can work close to full time (usually between 30 and 40 hours; although we are very flexible with schedules and understand that sometimes we all need to take care of someone or something). They would need to be able to stand or sit on a stool to do some of their work; they need to be detail oriented, proud of the product they produce, have a valid driver's license and be able to legally drive; they don't have to be happy, but they cannot be angry or cranky - and we DO NOT allow any discrimination or being mean to other humans (there is enough of that everywhere else - we do not need it at work - this is a safe place). We have a team that is fun and campy - I mean who wants to spend so much time at work being miserable. We offer health Insurance, dental insurance, vacation and holiday pay; managers are salaried with bonuses based on their kitchen's performance, hourly employees are paid a rate based on ability, availability, experience, and..... well, honestly, attitude. Having an easy smile and being willing to laugh at my really bad dad jokes is very endearing. Most of our family of employees have been with us for over 5 years and several for over 15. It's a fun place to work, that is growing, and we'll be opening in new markets soon. So, if you have to work (and most of us do), why not work someplace where the days are productive, usually filled with laughter and a sense of accomplishment, and you get paid too.
