Could not let the day pass by without wishing my great grandmother a Happy Heavenly Birthday! Gee was the inspiration for me to start Eats from 84th. As a child she taught me how to cook. I was her taste tester in the kitchen. I knew good food at a young age. A memory that comes to mind is when I was growing up in Chicago I had a field trip to the zoo and had to bring a sack lunch. I told her I wanted pork chops 😂 And guess what she did? Got up early to make me pork chops and scalloped potatoes. I miss her so much. 🧡
