Hard work, Dedication and Resilience leads to an amazing Retirement! I'm sure that many have crossed paths with Fannie Bates-Reese over 32 years at SSCC. There is no doubt that she has touched many, encouraged hundreds and made an impact on thousands. What other way to celebrate such a milestone than have your beautiful daughters and spouse surprise you with an UNFORGETTABLE night! It was such a pleasure designing and assisting the girls in creating something "Simply Beautiful" for their mother. The lake was calm, the air was cool and crisp...FALL was definitely in the air Saturday morning as we set the atmosphere for an intimate brunch celebrating Merika's 50th Birthday! I didn't have to ask what does FALLING into FIFTY mean to you? EXCITEMENT, GRATEFULNESS, and GRATITUDE met us at the door. Celebrating 50 years of marriage is a big deal...Its an even bigger deal when you are more in love today than you were 50 years ago! As Mr. And Mrs. Smith approached the center of the room, they were reminded of the year 1976...3 years married, madly in love and then a group called Heatwave released one of the hottest love songs of all time! The smiles on their faces was a sure indication that they both remembered that exact time in their lives...Mr Smith wasted no time taking his wife back to 1976 with their FOREVER DANCE..With a room full guests, at this moment...it was only him and her!

Last weekend, it seemed as though the rain would never end and at every turn was another roadblock to overcome. However, the behind the scene mishaps can never damper what has been in fruition for over 50 years!! Mr. Arthur & Annie Smith showed up serving Pure gold! They were welcomed by all of their closest loved ones who showed up and loved on them all night. Special Thanks to all of the amazing vendors that help us complete the vision for this celebration......Christie Bs Catering, the dinner was presented effortlessly, delicious and definitely prepared with love...Oh Snap 360! thank you for providing fun entertainment for the guests...DjSkippo on the ones and twos...Kokos Cakes and Cookies for the perfect sweet detail...The Kandi Bar (iykyk)....IBEvent Media and TC Photography for capturing these most precious moments!
