Excited to give back to the local community!

Our show owner / parent company (Kristie / North East Expos) recently partnered with the The Hometown Foundation to make a $5,500 donation to the Town of Canton CT Police Department

This donation will go towards outfitting a police cruiser with the necessary equipment to keep K-9 Leo safe!

We are so pleased to report that our good friend AL GAG, a headliner at our yearly Connecticut Fishing & Outdoor Show at Mohegan Sun, is one of only six individuals named to the prestigious "2024 International Fresh Water Fishing Hall of Fame". Gag is a successful custom lure designer, fishing instructor, TV broadcaster, and owner of Al Gag’s Lures in Indian Orchard, Mass. – and a genuinely nice guy!

The installation ceremony for this great honor will take place during our three-day show that will be held March 22nd through 24th, 2024 at Mohegan Sun. It’s appropriate since fishing is the highlight of our annual three-day family event that showcases a wide variety of outdoor activities including freshwater and saltwater fishing, hunting, kayaking, paddle boards, safaris, hunting dog training, and more.

“This recognition is bestowed on those who have spent a great share of their lives promoting, educating, and sharing their passion for fresh water fishing in a manner that positively impacts the sport for the millions of anglers around the world,” explains Emmett Brown, Executive Director of International Fresh Water Fishing Hall of Fame. “There are many who love to fish, but few that can be considered Fresh Water Fishing Hall of Famers.”
