Well, the room with the drying flowers is actually prettier without the Christmas lights on I’m realizing this morning…But that means that I’ve stayed in bed too long! 😘😂😘

Do you have another room you sleep in even though you’re in a relationship??

It sounds strange, but I know a lot of couples do because of snoring and such.

Anyway this is, yes, this is where I wake up most of the time and I love it💕 I love my husband too❤️ We go to sleep together, but I usually wake up in here.

I still feel weird admitting it, but the more women I’ve talk to about it, the more I find out it’s totally normal these days to have two bedrooms to sleep in.😴😴😴

Two years ago I had just barley met the amazing Sharon McDonald

She and I think met through… Instagram maybe? Is that true🤔
And she asked me for some guidance, planting spring bulbs, dividing wildflowers, and things like that. So I actually took a camera crew over and we had this lovely afternoon of filming how to plant tulips!

With her husband and her sweet, adorable sheep in the background.

And we became good friends💕💕

For those of you who don’t know me, I thought I’d introduce myself. Tell you a bit about myself, and how Poker Hill Flower Farm started-

But it turns out I am a terrible editor and I need to post 3/4 of my story in the photos! So be sure to swipe through if you want to hear all the gory and glorious deets! (some of them anyway)

So for now, I’ll just say that I’m very happy Flower Farmer/Florist in Northern Vermont. We have gorgeous land to garden and play on, a cute motor boat on Lake Champlain to rest, energize and entertain on, and gorgeous, sweet rescue pup, Marty❤️I’m a jazz singer, and vocal coach. My husband is a professor of music and music engendering at UVM. I’m an avid skiier and tennis fanatic!

🌸As for Poker Hill Flower Farm-
For the rest of 2023 and 2024, we are primarily focusing on WEDDINGS!!!
As well as home floral design, and flower buckets.

Yes, quite a few of the tubers came from my babies😘,(she and her man came to help divide dahlias two years ago. She and I talked dahlias the whole time, she wanted to learn, and boy did she!)

But!!! She has the serious magic🪄

Her location, her soil, and her magic touch has created a gorgeous Dahlia Haven🌸🌸🌸
