My poor little buddy has totally torn his puppy ACL 🫣, and now has to get surgery🚑❤️🩹❤️🩹❤️🩹
Thank goodness we did get pet insurance when he was a baby, for these just in case situations. But I’m still so depressed, I can’t believe it. He’s only turning six in December, and he’s so active and strong and healthy. They say it takes 2 to 4 months for recovery, so I hope we can get him in soon so he can be all healed up before we get too much snow here.

This mama bird is so dedicated❤️
I found her nest after I had weed whacked the side of my garden and somehow missed her nest with four tiny speckled eggs in it.
I tried to pile some dried cut grass around the top of her nest to keep the rain out, etc. I really didn’t think that the eggs would hatch after all the trauma and me in the garden scaring her away several times a day, although I did put up steaks to keep people and Marty away from the area including myself, (but I’m the only one that forgets and goes over there. )
Yesterday the babies started hatching!
And my heart isbursting with joy ❣️ And there she is sitting on the very edge of the nest keeping them warm and safe. These are some of the things I love most about gardening and flower farming.
