EVENT REMINDER: The Glen Ridge Arts & Eco Fair is less than one month away! We hope to see you on Saturday, May 18th! (rain date 5/19)

Come join the fun from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Ridgewood Avenue between Bloomfield Avenue and Lincoln Street (in front of Glen Ridge High School). This free, family-friendly event is a day of fun, food, shopping, eco demonstrations, student art exhibits, musical performances and community.

In short, ABSOLUTELY! The heart of Steampunk is creativity; putting together or making costumes, meeting or being makers, music, literature, film and just being yourself. We are ready to show off and celebrate peak bloom at tomorrow's Rose Day Festival🤩 Here are a few details- Lot A is reserved for handicapped parking, the gates will open at 10am, with vendors, henna art from Karkadann Henna , bands, and food trucks☕️🌮🍦 ready to go at 11am. Visit Rawhide Rescue from 10am on to adopt a sweet dog or donate to this wonderful organization. Check out our Events page for info about our three awesome live bands🎶 As always, the Perennial Garden and Arboretum will be open from sunrise to sunset, if you want to stroll the grounds. Hope to see you there🌞

It doesn't feel like it today☔️, but there are just six weeks to go until our annual Rose Day Festival🥳 Our first shrub rose, 'Canary Bird' is in bloom right now, in the middle section of the rose garden, and other roses are beginning to form buds. Roses open approximately two weeks after the buds form, so from now until frost there will always be some roses in bloom😍 Come often to see the early bloomers and steady progression, with peak bloom arriving between late May and mid-June, and a second smaller peak in September🌹

REMINDER: Due to today's rainy forecast, the Glen Ridge Arts & Eco Fair is moved to tomorrow--SUNDAY, May 21st. Come join the fun between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. We will post the updated Marketplace listing a little later today. In addition to great shopping, there will be wonderful eco exhibits and plant sales, student art exhibits, a gently used toy drive, EV cars on display, the Repair Cafe (for repair of small items), community groups, kids' activities, food, and music. We hope to see you there!
