Today from 10-3, Doc will be at R&R Ace Hardware in St. Clair, MO cooking up some burgers and hotdogs to help support and raise money for one of our High School Team USA Track and Field members heading to Australia this summer. Come out and support this great kid and say Hi. There will be a raffle for a chicken coop and other misc decor and items, a bake sale as well as R&R's open house featuring 20% inside the store. Looking forward to seeing you there.

Another holiday season and Up In Smoke was honored to be a part of Midwest Jeep- Holiday Blessing’s. We helped provide meals and gifts for 7 very special families. We are fortunate we can give back to those that give so much of themselves everyday. Happy Holidays to All!

We have been busy smoking turkeys and hams and all the sides to go with it . We would like to take a minute to wish everyone a happy Thanksgiving. We have a lot to be thankful for.

We were given the opportunity to cater the Whiting/ Hibben wedding Saturday night. Wes and his Dad make knives. Wes surprised me with a gift, this is one of his knives that he gave me to say thank you. I love it and can't wait to use it . I know a picture doesn't do it justice, but this knife will last me a life time. Thank you Wes and Abby!

This post is a great big thank you to my wife Monica and the great friends Franky Orlando , Kelly Orlando and Doc Quaethem for all the help they give my with Upinsmoke. I hear all the time that we did a great job and how good the food is. I get all the credit but with out my wife and some great friends I could not do what we do .

I want to thank my friend Doc Quaethem for volunteering to cook the brats we sent to Hot dogs for Heroes on Saturday. You know you have a good friend when they stand out in the middle of a parking lot in the heat over our hot smoker representing Upinsmoke BBQ for me while I was catering a wedding in Rolla with my wife and two other great friends that also help me all the time .

We are working hard to get ready for the big weekend down at Chick's in the Sticks with Midwest Jeepthing. We got our produce from The Produce Patch in Troy Illinois from our friends Andy and April. Want your food to taste good you need to start with good products, and The Produce Patch has them. Thank you again. I am making the broccoli salad right now and the broccoli is top notch.
