The 2nd annual Merica Fest 2024 was a Hot and great event. Cruise Night puts on one heck of an event and we will definitely be back to help grow it even bigger . We cooked Dessert, sausage, chicken and Ribs , and when it was all said and done we walked away with some Hardware.Teressa Green Thompson killed it with a 1st place Dessert ,and we managed to walk away with 1st place Ribs . We can’t wait till next year and hopefully it won’t be a 1000° . Thank you to everyone that came out in the heat to support us!

We ran up to Derby Ks for the Rod Trowbridge memorial Fly-in KCBS sanctioned backyard cookoff . It was a great event and we will definitely come back next year! Congratulations to Swine-O-Licious Competition BBQ Team for their perfect 360.000 GC . Outstanding performance y’all and to B-Team bbq for their RGC . We decided to take a trip to Perry Oklahoma for a Rib Cook Off Association event at the Noble county fairgrounds. This is an awesome event that helps raise money for the local Fire Department. We had some awesome Neighbors and met some new friends. Our cook was good, but we landed just outside the Top 10 . But we did win the Wild Child being in 11th place 💰 Congratulations to Donny Teel on his 1st place, and to everyone else that heard their number called. And Thank you to Jdqbbq for the awesome playlist , it was nice meeting you guys 🤙🏼

We took a trip down to HIGHWAY 62 BBQ Competition & Music Festival this weekend. We had a great time hanging out with great friends and see all our BBQ friends! We appreciate everyone who came and Supported us this weekend. We managed to walk away with a 2nd place Brisket call . We have made it home from Lake Views & BBQ Wagoner, OK ! It was a very challenging contest with the crazy winds . We adjusted and had a good cook . We want to give a big Shoutout to our Friends Pork Posse BBQ on their first GC and B team bbq on their RGC . Congratulations on everyone who heard their name called today! We had a great time in Tahlequah for Que For a Cause BBQ Contest . Nick Davis and his team put on great event and goes above and beyond to make sure the teams are well taken care of . We had extreme heat on Friday and a crazy Wind storm on Saturday morning . We will always have this comp on our schedule . We competed against 23 of the best Backyard teams in the country and had a great time seeing old friends and meeting new ones . We would like to give a big Shoutout to our Good friends and BBQ neighbors Speedy Pig BBQ for Getting their First GC and to Burbon and Blues BBQ for their RGC and to everyone who heard their names called . We just made it home from the 1st annual Route 66 Merica Fest . Sapulpa cruise night group put on a great event for it being their first time . We’re excited to see this one grow in the future. The Royal Oak Charcoal kept the fires burning hot and our thermometers made sure we hit our Temps . We brought home some hardware . Congratulations to the others who heard their names called

After two Comps we are hanging in the top 10 ! The next and final Competition in the Oklahoma triple crown Championship will be on August 4-5 Que For a Cause BBQ Contest in Tahlequah Ok. Let’s see if we can move up even higher !

We are grateful to be able to compete against these great teams . Come see us at our next event @ City of Springs BBQ Championship, A KCBS Sanctioned BBQ Contest in Sulphur Ok next month.

This is the updated points standing for the backyard division. Since this weekends contest at Trowbridge Fly-In, BBQ Competition in now an OKBS points contest we will have another set of both pro and backyard points available next week.
