We are home and rested from an awesome time at the Rib Cook Off Association World Championship. It was a honor to be able to compete in this amazing event with some of the best rib cooks in the world. Thank you Dirk Mullins and Jody Harris for putting on an amazing event. As always we had a blast hanging with our bbq family and friends.

So here is our plan for this week and next week as well. The only day we are open this week due to the holidays is Wednesday and we are bringing the good stuff!! Our Thanksgiving menu will be the only items we will be offering but trust it’s worth the trip!!

Also the following week December 4-6 will be our last days at this location. We have planned a customer appreciation week for the whole week….we will also be offering ribs and burnt ends all week!! Just our way of saying thank for all the great times and memories!!

We ended our year out a few weeks ago. We competed in 8 total contests this year. We had an amazing time meeting new friends and knocking out some of our BBQ competition goals .

This weekend we took a trip down the Turnpike to cook Grillstock 2024 ! Kim and her team did an amazing job they went all out taking care of all the teams. This was a top notch contest for being its first year. We got to hang out with some great people and friends this weekend. Teressa Green Thompson thank you for everything from loading in and out to making boxes and enduring the sleepless nights I couldn’t do this without you. As for our results we got to knock off two more bbq bucket list items .

We made it home from the Route 66 Smokin on the Route in Miami Ok! We had a great Time hanging out with our BBQ friends and got to meet some great new Friends. Shannon Duhon and his team did a fantastic job taking care of all of The teams . We will definitely be back next year for sure. Congratulations on Breaking Slabs BBQ Competition Team for their Big GC and to B Team BBQ for their RGC . And congratulations to everyone who heard their named called . As for our Results…..

The 2nd annual Merica Fest 2024 was a Hot and great event. Cruise Night puts on one heck of an event and we will definitely be back to help grow it even bigger . We cooked Dessert, sausage, chicken and Ribs , and when it was all said and done we walked away with some Hardware.Teressa Green Thompson killed it with a 1st place Dessert ,and we managed to walk away with 1st place Ribs . We can’t wait till next year and hopefully it won’t be a 1000° . Thank you to everyone that came out in the heat to support us!
