This is our first newsletter update and marks the beginning of our Drum Innovation journey! Thanks for being one of our first community members. We are grateful for you and excited to share some updates and upcoming events.

This week I facilitated 10 drumming with youth programs from Brentwood, Berkeley, to San Fransisco. It was the first time driving my bright orange drum trailer to the city. The trailer makes it so easy to load in and out and I even work within the program to have the children bring the drums to me. My back thanks me every time!
Seeing all the children’s drum faces (including tongues sticking out) makes my job worth it. Pictures of them are not included for privacy purposes.
One of the staff pulled me aside this week and told me that “your drumming program is the only program where we can invite the special needs children to join the rest and they all participate equally”
