Get lost in our Epic Love Story 📖✨🌹
The design competition today hosted by was absolutely incredible - so many jaw-dropping designs by Arizona’s most talented vendors! We’re thrilled to share that we took home 2nd Place for our Shakespearean Love Story table design, complete with a custom book wall, acrylic pressed-floral menus, a build-your-own-bouquet station, and so many more incredible details that we’ll be drooling over for the rest of time ✨

A few of our favorites from Maddi + Nick’s dreamy Willow wedding! This incredible couple wanted a combination of classy and elevated with original and whimsical. They loved shades of sand with pops of black to evoke a timeless and organic vibe. We incorporated unique textures like stone, palm, and wicker to add warmth and nature, while keeping all text and graphics throughout black for that sleek pop 🍾 We personally love how their monogram translated from their signage and stationery to their custom espresso martini ice luge! 🍸

When initially brainstorming this shoot, Chelsea Gaytan of Black Tie Optional Wedding Planning looked to recent trends to see what the future might hold. She noticed a correlation to certain decades over the past few years, starting with bohemian ‘60s flair and moving to funk-infused designs and disco balls from the ‘70s. So, she instantly knew she wanted to go ‘80s with this design scheme in Sedona.
“But what does that mean exactly?” Gaytan asked herself. “I knew I wanted to use this idea of ‘bigger’, but make it very now, super elevated [and] a fun twist instead of a literal translation of the decade.” She also noted that this notion of “bigger” was present in a larger shift in wedding culture post-pandemic — from two years of downsized weddings and cutting guest lists, to bigger, blown -out affairs again.

“Once we found the perfect location, the theme of the shoot became crystal clear: ‘ELEVATE,’” Gaytan said. “We were high above the hustle and bustle of downtown Sedona, which was a physical elevation, but I also wanted to prove that you can have an extremely elevated design in an unexpected location.”

🎉 WE WON Best Wedding Planner in Arizona 🍾

These past few days have been SUCH a whirlwind! We were honored to be the planning team behind the industry’s biggest awards event of the year: Arizona Bride Magazine’s Best-Of Awards Gala. The gala was out of this world - over 200 of the industry’s most talented wedding professionals gathered to celebrate themselves and the stunning work that they produce.

The styled photoshoot we planned for the magazine’s Fall/Winter edition was debuted and WOW - it turned out SO beautifully and we’re beyond grateful to the incredibly talented team of vendors that helped to make it happen!

And as if this magical evening could get any better, we were awarded Best Wedding Planner in Arizona AND Member of the Year!!!! ✨✨✨

There are no words - we haven’t been able to wipe the giddy smiles off of our faces for days! Thank you to all of our peers and couples who voted for us as well as the amazing community of vendors that have supported us and cheered us on every step of the way.
