What to do with your left over turkey after the holidays
Do yourself a favor and try this Smoked Turkey Sandwich
We used:
Whole grain bread
Sliced smoked turkey
Gouda cheese or white American cheese
And garnished with whole cranberry sauce. You can use canned but we made our own using this recipe:
4 cups fresh cranberries
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup orange juice
1/2 cup water
Bring water, orange juice and sugar to a boil. Add cranberries and cook about 10 minutes. Add the zest of one orange, chopped pecans, cinnamon and nutmeg to taste. Cool before serving.
