You loved hearing Kayla, one of our Customer Service Team Leads, talk about the new Staff Picks exhibit. Here's an up-close look at the artifacts she chose to display from the Voigt Family Collection. The hat and purse are from the first half of the 20th century, and the gloves date back to 1895.

The GRPM can only display about 10% of its vast collection of 250,000 artifacts and specimens at any time. The rest of the collections are stored in our archives on Washington Street.

The 2023 Miss Pin-Up & Patriots Pageant is in the books. We had some challenges with our first show, including a late entrant, Mother Nature, who threw a fit when we tried to explain registration was closed. We finally had to relent and crowned her Miss Monsoon and move the event under cover. Despite the last minute scrambling, we were able to hold the event (fairly dry) and with a few minor modifications. Congratulations to Miss Pin-Up & Patriots - Ms Hazel Hellcat, Miss Firecracker - Ms Trixie Lux, Miss Sparkler - Ms Frances Wright, & Miss Boss Betty - Ms Bunnie Hopps Von Schweetz. We would like to thank our wonderful & generous sponsor, Jerry's Body Shop, est. 1970, along with the City of Dorr for putting on this event, Kristy DeWick of www.LittleMissWicked.com for her generous donation of custom made products for our winners, and all of our contestants and car show owners who braved the weather to make our show stand out and shine. Dorr, we will see you again in 2024.
