The legs wake up a little tiny bit more every day, and I am finally learning to stand and take a step. 2024 will be big year at the Chateau, and I hope to finally join the crew as they work to bring our home subtly into the 21st century!

The weather in the south of France 🇫🇷 is spectacular as we bathe in the warmth of the spring sunshine. Flowers at the Chateau bring these magnificent Bumblebees into the gardens, and they are busy doing what they do best… Pollinating !

Spring has arrived at the Chateau as the daffodils push up in the cutting garden. I love this concept of an out of the way place, that no one ever sees being planted with flowers to cut and bring in the house guilt free. An evening in the Chateau with fresh cut flowers is divine !

A beautiful day in the Gers as spring approaches. It is amazing to look at the Chateau from this angle, knowing that inside is an explosive of floorboards, pipes, and electrical conduit… it all seems so peaceful from the outside.
