On 4.13.24 Professional Event Staff supported Cordell The Culinary Diva with servers and bartenders for the reception and unveiling of the Koenigsegg Gemera with a base price of 2.8 million!!! I was blown away to hear that this car goes from 0 to 250 MPH in 18 sec!!! This amazing supercar is rare, exclusive, and in limited supply.

I am blessed with the opportunity to network with the car enthusiasts, customers, and guests that travel near and far and am forever grateful for Chef Cordell and our friends at Exclusive Automotive Group for entrusting us to always deliver excellent service!

I got a call from one of my favorite clients, Bentley Washington D.C. requesting Professional Event Staff to provide servers and bartenders for their Casino Night which was held on 2.22.24 benefiting the Loudoun First Responders Foundation. Invited guests included local data center developers and employees. We are grateful for the repeat business and networking opportunities!

BTW I am wayyy behind with posting our events but will get caught up one day!

LONG POST Alert!!

Now that I’ve had a day to rest, recover and come down from all the excitement, I want to publicly send a huge THANK YOU to my friend and former Delegate Herman Taylor for partnering with my company Professional Event Staff and entrusting me to be the Event Planner for his baby lol the Annual MBE Night in Annapolis with the Legislative Black Caucus of Maryland, Inc. held on 2.28.23 at the The Westin Annapolis.

What a way to celebrate by the last day of Black History Month with powerful words from Wes Moore our First Black Governor as it relates to ensuring effectiveness of supplier diversity programs. With over 1000 registrants and hundreds that unfortunately were waitlisted the room was filled with Black Excellence from new and seasoned business owners to corporate executives to government officials. As the governor is now requiring greater accountability and transparency following the program myself and the team were approached by many congratulating us for a job well done but also desiring to duplicate the event to be hosted by their respective agencies and organizations.

At the beginning of the year my Pastor John K. Jenkins, Sr. (FBCG) declared that 2023 would be a “Season of Transition”. Bishop TD Jakes came back at revival and declared 2023 would be a year of “Divine Alignment” which has certainly been true for my new year. I look forward to what comes next. Glory be to GOD!!

On 11.20.22 the PES Team partnered with our repeat client Sharon Wilder, ESQ one of the proprietors of The Oaks Bed & Breakfast to host the National Coalition of 100 Black Woman DC Membership Brunch. I am blessed to have other small business owners that support me on a regular basis! Please treat yourself or a loved one to a stay at The Oaks this holiday season!

On 11/24/20 during the pandemic and recession when everything was closed and we couldn’t do anything or go anywhere I stepped out on faith and established Professional Event Staff LLC as an entity with the IRS. I’ve learned sooooo much in this journey of entrepreneurship but my main take aways are:

1. Quality over quantity
2. Know your worth then add tax
3. Stay in your target market

The financial gains my business has attained in the short time frame of 2 yrs has been eye opening and I look forward to the day I can fire my boss and become a full time entrepreneur! I could go on and on but lastly I want to thank my A1 team that executes every event with excellence, my top client at the Merriweather Post Pavilion based in the UK and GOD for the doors that keep flying open. Cheers to 2 years & counting!

When I say this was one of my favorite clients to date! All the way from Florida/Midwest this was thee most sweetest and generous family which reminded me why I love what I do! On 11.5.22 Professional Event Staff provided a team for event set up/breakdown and service for the cocktail and dinner reception for this beautiful wedding. The view was ahhhhmazing! And most importantly I was working with a SUPERSTAR team. I am grateful!

I am grateful to have personally met Wes Moore, the Democratic Nominee for Governor for the State of MD along with his running mate Delegate Aruna Miller and his beautiful wife Dawn. Five weeks left until Election Day! Let’s push to make Wes Moore our next Governor!
