Inspired by a friend and the release of the new season of Bridgerton, we created this Bridgerton inspired set up for part of our table at the Wilmington Wedding Showcase. We have what you need to channel the Regency era style with everything from romantic patterned tableware and glasses to centerpiece items. Special thanks to Jen Z from who shared these beautiful photos with us. If you haven't met Jen you should. She has an infectious smile, mad skills and a way of making you feel totally comfortable in front of the camera. I can't think of a better combo to have in your corner on your wedding day!

Was playing around with this sweet patterned blue plate this week while working on some mockups. Some patterns just make me smile :)

We wash a LOT of dishes. We handwash all of the dishes taking time to examine them for chips or cracks in the glaze called "crazing". The crazing in this dish was hard to see when it was dry. I know a lot of people who like to thrift vintage dishes and don't know that once a dish shows signs of crazing it is no longer food safe. The dark streaks/smudges you see here are water that soaked in through the crazing and settled in the plate. Whatever settles in can just as easily seep out the next time the plate gets wet. This is especially true when something warm is placed on it and the plate expands. Unfortunately, this old girl is getting moved out of our collection and to the recycle pile where it will likely end up as art in a friend's garden.

We're always suckers for a good fall wedding. This fall wedding was our first out at Black River Hunt Club
What a hidden gem that is! It was another wedding day that started with a dark and gloomy forecast where the vendors sprung into action with a plan B only to then turn into the most perfect day for an outdoor wedding.

This couple stepped out of the traditional fall color scheme by using gray and burnt orange as their inspiration which really elevated the whole "fall wedding" vibe. They even brewed their own beer personalized with their own label as wedding favors for their guests. Our good friends over at the Rhythm Connection had EVERYONE on the dance floor and begging for more.

Every time we get one of these Wilmington monsoon weeks I'm reminded of this amazing couple who's outdoor Wrightsville Beach wedding got blasted by one of the wettest, windiest weekend full of storms we've had in ages. When we made our delivery, we saw the dark clouds that refused to budge but found that the atmosphere was electric with excitement and joy. Like water off of a duck's back, they shifted indoors and created one of the most romantic, intimate and memorable weddingscapes I've seen. It goes to show that when you get to marry the one you truly love, everything that flows forth will reflect the beauty of that love.

We were fortunate to collaborate with some vendors we know and love and got to meet some new ones as well on this spring photo shoot at the . The inspiration was coastal spring citrus. I love how all of the vendors really dove into this inspiration to create such a cohesive shoot! I'm a little jealous of how adorable these models and couples are because it makes it hard to notice all of the fine details the vendors spent so much time on :)

When we started talking to Ally she expressed her desire to create a beautiful garden vibe and we saw it - English garden, secret garden, spring springing..but now that we've SEEN it?😍😍😍😍🤩🤩🤩 OH MY GOODNESS! They created this tranquil but unbelievably special and beautiful feeling by using gentle pops of springtime colors in expected and unexpected places. So much of the work we do is in the preparation-whether it be for something like this photoshoot set up or shining up the dishes and flatware for an event the next day as we are doing tonight.

I couldn't wait to see how this setup was going to look in the dreamy candlelight. This might be where I should confess to peeking in on the reception on the day of to find the amazing bride, her family and her friends having the time of their lives 🫣
Our tables helped create a beautiful mood that was romantic and unique. We have a knack for working with some of the most amazing couples and this bride was near the TOP of that list.

WE ARE SO EXCITED! (Yes I'm yelling 🤣) We're finally able to share our new blue and white collection. We thought open day at was the perfect place for it to make its debut. We think it looked pretty snazzy up against their beautiful living edge tables and the organic finishes of the barn. We loved seeing some of our favorite vendors there as well as meeting some new ones. The English Country Barn only has a few dates open in July for the rest of 2023 and are already booking for 2024! After spending some time with the delightful owners and in the venue, we can see why they are so popular. As far as these vintage beauties go, you will be able to order from the blue collection starting this week! 😍😍😍

We met family at a wedding show who talked to us about Mosser Glass which was made in the city they were from. I recognized the hometown pride this brought the family instantly and promised to check them out. When I did I was not surprised to find several items already in our inventory. I don't always know an item's origin, but if it's beautiful, we add it to our collection. While perusing their website I happened to fall in love with those little glass birds. I was fortunate enough to receive not just one but two of them for Christmas this year! I'm ending my year of collecting all of the pretty things strong and looking forward to seeing what the New Year brings 🥰🥰
