Sometimes you’re blessed enough to meet a couple that matches all of your nerdiness and you become fast friends! I was able to showcase all many facets and forms of creativity by not only doing Coordination, I also did the florals and I officiated for them as well. I have been so incredibly blessed to have such amazing couples that I want to be friends with, and many of them have become friends after their wedding has ended. When I tell you that Alana and Jake are the type of people you immediately want to be friends with, I’m not kidding! They’re such amazing fun people and you can see in the way that they look at each other how much they love each other! Their pictures turned out stunning did such an amazing job. This wedding I did something a little different and did the florals, and I was really happy with how they turned out. Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Kroll!

Last weekend there were 2 beautiful weddings that Andrew got to attend. The first one he got to party, dance, and enjoy friends.
The 2nd one was so much fun at a YMCA camp ground with some camp activities such as crafts, canoeing, slingshots, and rock wall climbing. Unfortunately, when Andrew wandered into the kitchen in search of some food he met an unfortunate accident with the caterer, and now needs some surgery. He will be fixed and after some rest he’ll be ready for the last wedding of the season on November 15.
Sadly, he missed this weekend’s EPIC wedding where I truly felt that the couple were like kindred spirits to me.

So when we were in England we got a wooden duck named Andrew. Which was humorous because our favorite tour guide’s name is Andrew and he has a walking stick with a duck head that he named Lucy. When my friend and I met him a year ago he jokingly threatened to hit me with Lucy and it turned into a joking feud and we became fast friends. At the end of our last tour this vacation he actually gave my mom Lucy (she fell on the first tour and he let her use his walking stick he had that day and it helped her a ton so the 2nd tour he brought an extra one for her and it was Lucy and he gave it to her). We happened to find and buy Andrew in the Cotswolds while we were on a tour with Andrew and I told him that we were going to bring Andrew to places with us, but not to get too excited because it’ll be boring places like work, or the grocery store… this weekend he came to my wedding with me!

I will be out of the office on a family vacation until September 28. However, I’m never truly off the clock as I am constantly thinking about my amazing couples. I will still occasionally check my email so I appreciate your patience if it takes me a little longer to respond.
