My son is now my Guardian Angel.

It is with the deepest sadness that I inform you Jadaen Williams-Pringle has passed. Many of you have enquired, so I wanted to take a moment to update and thank you all for the outpouring of love and support for Jadaen over the past few months and for keeping him lifted in prayer. Jadaen experienced more love and spoiling in these last few months than some will see in a lifetime and for that, I am grateful. Your calls, prayers, texts and kind messages added a few moments of respite to a dark and difficult journey for us all. I also must thank Jadaen’s grandmother from the bottom of my heart for being his rock; not just these last few months, but over the course of his life. Given that the family is still coming to grips with this very recent development, some grace and time to process this privately is needed and greatly appreciated. While we piece ourselves together and try to adjust to this reality, I ask for calls to be limited to emergencies at this time so we can focus our energies on healing. We find solace knowing he is now pain free and know he is in a better place, and yet, this is unbelievably hard to accept, but God is in control. Thank you all again.

Many of you know me as AP the videographer, but today, I'm coming to you as Andrew, a father.

Jadaen, my 16, soon to be 17 year old son and my first born, received a devastating Stage IV Renal Cell Carcinoma diagnosis after being admitted to the hospital for what was initially thought to be pneumonia. The cancer has spread from his kidneys to his liver and lungs, and unfortunately, chemotherapy is not an option at this time. Though chemo is not an option, there are still some tests that need to be done so we have a complete scope of his condition, and other treatments are being considered to help slow the spread, manage his symptoms and keep him comfortable until he is able to go home. Jadaen may also need to travel to have access to the best care possible, and we need help with the costs.

I hate that this is how I had to introduce my son to you all because he is so special and so much more than a victim of this evil disease. If it's okay with him, I may share more about who he is in the future, but for now, we've added what he is OK with sharing to his Go Fund Me profile.

Jadaen changed my life in ways I can't express, and I am ready to do everything I can to save his. He has so much life ahead of him and is working towards the dreams and aspirations he has for his life! So, I am begging you all to help us give my son his best chance. Lastly, please understand that my availability may be impacted, and timelines may be longer as my priority is being available to Jadaen. This is going to be a difficult, unpredictable journey for us all in different ways, so I thank you in advance for your understanding.
