I would not have guessed ten years ago I would be combining my two favorite things: Football and FLOWERS! It was incredible being able to help with a bridal expo that is hosting with . So excited to see how the show goes tonight! I’ll be rocking out working the Killers Concert. It’s been a long day but wouldn’t trade it for anything!

A little bit ago there was a request to do a secret garden hideaway for a sweet angel named Alexis. I had followed her cancer path for sometime and they reached out to see if I could help. This was just over a year ago. My heart broke last night when I was scrolling Facebook before going to bed and saw that she passed away yesterday. I will never look at peonies the same. I will never look at flowers the same. Life is more precious than the petals of peonies. With a slight touch, or extra oils, the petals will wilt and brown. Don’t be afraid to experience the smell, the appearance and be gentle with touch. But Cherish every minute of it. Life is to be treasured and Alexis reminded me of that precious truth. Fly High Alexis. And dance like you haven’t been able to for a very long time.

Today was a reminder that if something is important to you, it’s important to God. I had a slight panic attack with a massive box of flowers NOT being delivered. When I left this morning to go do the set up, I randomly went back into the house grabbed a bunch of random stuff from Garland to beads, linens and extra zip ties. Had NO reason to grab those and I was kind of annoyed. Well it wasn’t until AFTER all the local shops had closed that I found out my boxes weren’t gonna get delivered. Well every single blooming “random” thing I brought was used in this room. What could’ve been a bare room was not. And I wanted to cry with relief. It wAs a day. Not showing more pictures until after tonight so the bride and groom can see it in person.

*ANNOUNCEMENT!!* One thing that has been somewhat frustrating to me, has been the lack of affordable resources that my brides have for preserving their bouquet. My mom always told me growing up how she wished her bouquet could have been dried. I had the idea of remaking her bouquet for my parents 35th wedding anniversary. So us siblings got together to do this for her. It always gave me an opportunity to trial and error what works the best. And I FOUND it. So, now that I have, I’ll be offering this to my brides as an affordable service to add to their wedding package. It took about a month for this to dry out the way I wanted. yours is next :)

This might be a little long, so grab some ice cream, cookies and milk, veggies and ranch, or popcorn. At the beginning of 2020 I had goals I wanted to meet. One of those goals changed drastically on about Feb 14 when I had this thought to get my business license. Didn’t understand why, didn’t jump to do it but definitely kept thinking about it. Well, February 27, 2020 was the day I decided to actually get it. This beautiful bride I guess you could say started it all. She asked me to do her wedding. Fast forward two weeks. I’m sitting at a Dodgers/Brewers game in AZ listening to the best seller of lemonade. “Lemonade, lemonade-just like your gramma made.” (Said in a sassy southern voice). I pulled up the Jazz/OKC game on my phone to watch. Ball got tipped, refs blew whistle, then huddle. Texts started blowing up my phone. I knew before they announced it that Rudy Gobert was defensive player of the world and shut it all down. Doing flowers has been my therapy, my escape, and my income for the last year. I will forever be grateful for doing this wedding. It will ALWAYS hold a special place in my heart and memory. I’m so excited to back to work-whenever that will be. can’t wait to be the minion again!

Anything with gold accents is elegant
