Nina and Jake’s micro wedding atop the majestic Moab Mountains surpassed our dreams. 25 of my beautiful couples closest guests flew in to Utah where we had an intimate ceremony overlooking the canyon followed by a family style reception at Under Canvas.

It was an absolute joy working with Nina and Jake conjuring up their perfect day- every detail was ethereal and dreamlike from the pastel florals to the soft decor color palette to Nina’s dress.

We call ourselves collector of daydreams for a reason and I’m blessed to have had the opportunity to share their day with them! This group of vendors was phenomenal to work with.

Today is the Day- Brianna and Jay’s wedding is live on ! I’m still pinching myself that I had the opportunity to be apart of this celebration that was a magical collaboration of music and wildflowers with a retro feel. Brianna and Jay couldn’t have said it better “There was laughter, sunshine, and happy tears. Surprisingly, there was also hail and a double rainbow! The wedding was a perfect encapsulation of the love we share, the people we adore, and the mountains we call home”

Forever obsessing over this gorgeous day and my drop dead gorgeous bride Felisha. So much love to you both Mr. and Mrs. Ortiz! 🤍

It was a black and white elegant affair and we loved every second of it! There was no shortage of smiles, laughs, and applause for these two lovers and their families who traveled near and far to celebrate them.

My jaw was (and still is) on the ground when my bride Ashley sent me her wedding photos! Oh what a day it was! I don’t mean to ever brag but we truly do have the most beautiful brides ever- inside and out.

We celebrated Ashley and Taylor’s Buena Vista wedding at the end of September. The fall leaves showed out for these lovebirds- every last detail was so special. Their Deer Valley Ranch ceremony overlooking the mountainous rocks was beautiful and touching. Ashley made her own gorgeous wedding floral arch, her unique veil was such a showstopper. We continued reception at Mt. Princeton Hot Springs Resort where we enjoyed an ice cream bar, a donut wall and a sparkler grand exit.

Flashbacks to Kaylee and Colin’s wedding day this August. A little rain didn’t stop my beautiful couple from living it up to the fullest. We celebrated you in full bloom and elegance- single stem white roses that lined your aisle, butterfly confetti, a high energy dance floor during your reception with special Brazilian dances, an arepa food truck, a violist that serenaded you down the aisle.

Kaylee looked like a goddess and Colin was as sharp as can be! Thank you for sharing your day with us!

As we continue to expand and cater to couples all over the states, we are so pleased to announce that our team is expanding as well!

We are looking to hire a Wedding Coordinator to join our group!

EXPECTATIONS
• 1+ year in the service industry in any capacity is required; 1+ years in the wedding industry in a planning or coordinating capacity preferred
• Successfully produce events from conception to completion while providing exceptional customer service and maintaining complete organization
• Liaise with clients to identify their needs and to ensure customer satisfaction
• Organize all aspects of the wedding day
• Ensure compliance with insurance, legal, health and safety obligations
• Proactively handle any arising issues and troubleshoot any emerging problems on the event day
• Manage time and project demands successfully
• Be able to frequently lift and carry objects up to 40lbs
• Be able to stand up and actively walk around 12-16 hours a day
• Be able to provide your own reliable access to transportation as well as transport event supplies as needed

RESPONSIBILITIES
• Provide a complete service to couples by attending to all their needs, providing guidance and support, and being responsive to their requests.
• Establishing trust and a personable relationship with all clients through prompt and proper communication, being on top of all details, and offering guidance and expertise in all situations.
• Clearly and proactively communicate with all vendors and partners prior to and on wedding day.
• Respond to emails, phone calls, and text messages within 48 business hours in a professional manner with complete sentences and proper grammar/spelling.
• Manage, create and implement plans prior to and on the wedding day to ensure success.
• Track and document all details and notes in the provided templates.
• Keep an upbeat attitude and calm demeanor, always reassuring clients and making them feel excited and happy.

COMPENSATION/ WORKING HOURS AND LOCATIONS
• Employee will be working on an as needed base
•The hours and locations of every wedding will differ for each individual event
• $27/ per hour per project and/ or event worked

Traveled to Hot Springs, Arkansas to celebrate the gorgeous Raven and Jordan! From their ceremony at the grooms family’s church to their reception at Hamp Williams Building- it was beautiful and soulful energy from morning to night. Some weddings you just wish you could relive over and over again and this was one of them for me. A wedding that uplifted our hearts and spirits.

Their chocolate brown color palette with the red rose accents made their day so romantic! Everyone was all the way turned up for their reception- scroll for the dance party!

Their love shined brighter than the sun and we were so happy to be apart of their day.

Fun fact about me- before I started Weddings by Jay, I actually spent a good amount of years in the bridal industry wearing different hats. I was a bridal model and every now and then, I still take the opportunity to be in front of the camera! This styled shoot was an absolute pleasure to design, plan and model for from beginning to end. I am my best self when I can express my artistic and creative side.
