We had a leather ring box custom made by for Blake and Stepehen to fit their baroque inspired tropical Biltmore wedding.

Having Blake’s beautiful ring as the showpiece certainly helps, but I’m fan girling over this flatlay this morning.

October’s palette is one of my favorite to work with.

Thousands of open flame candles adorned this fall inspired wedding’s table. Accompanied by delicate linens, warm wood tones, and stunning details on the tables such as velvet napkins, wax sealed semi circle menus, napkin rings and salt and pepper cellars, this wedding goes down as one of my favorite fall weddings ever.

One of my favorite ceremony designs to date.

With the beautiful settings of the rocky lava coast of Waimea, I wanted Mike and Ian’s ceremony design to exude masculine beauty.

The lava rocks were hand gathered by right from the shores of which they were to be married and returned there after.

It was a true labor of love and every creative partner involved absolutely poured themselves into this design.

Recipe for a perfect welcome party in Hawaii:

Ingredients:

(50) lei to greet each guest
(300) pieces of sushi made with fresh caught fish
(1) signature drink served in tiki mold glasses
(2) local hula dancers
(1) ube (purple sweet potato) ice cream station
(1) native fire dancers with (2) traditional drummers
(2) grooms with (50) of their closest friends and family

Directions:

Grooms invite their closest friends and family to Wedding Weekend in Hawaii. Upon arrival, grooms greet each guest at their welcome party with a lei as a custom tradition of hospitality in Hawaii. Guests dine on local cuisine to include signature drinks, sushi and Ube ice cream. Hula and fire dancers entertain grooms and their guests as they dance the night away under the night sky of Hawaii.

you never cease to amaze. As I reflect on the past week at the first word that continues to resound in my mind is gratitude.

Throughout the week, there was a mantra that I continued in my head over and over again. “I have found my people.” Throughout my life, I have always been referred to as motivated, creative, and a force, always just a bit too much personality for those around me in the corporate world. I have found my people.

This was my fourth experience at and this rings true just as much, if not more, than ever before. Surrounded by forces such as and so so many more, I was constantly in awe of the conversations, collaboration and just downright good times we had.

I am so grateful for this industry that had welcomed me with open arms. I have found my people.
